Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

It's really like a fecking zoo over there isn't it. A post like that on here deserves a ban.

I remember posting a few quotes from there and I had to replace a lot of letters with stars and # symbols as I was worried I'd get a ban for putting them up here.

Among the ones I didn't edit were vague comments about them being disappointed that Paddy Crerand was still alive.

...

Made up a new chant to the tune of "Cmon feel the noise by Slade"

SO feck OFF PELLEGRINI
PISS OFF BACK TO CHILE
HE'S GONE SE-N-ILE, HE'S GONE SE-N-ILEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Absolute c**t of a manager. I don't care if he is still here til the end of the season. But if he is here in August I seriously doubt the sanity of Mansour, Khaldoun and Txiki and Ferran.

We could have the best 11 players in the world & this c**t would still feck things up. fecking clueless.

I think for his own dignity he should resign. Its embarrassing to the point of being uncomfortable watching him now. It feels a bit like when the elderly pet Labrador keeps shitting everywhere. Its sad but its time to go..

It's a joke tbh. Some of their stories are blatently fabricated as well. Almost so they can have another one of them say, 'well done, rag cnut so and so'.

They have spent close to £70m this year haven't they? And they moan about limited spending.

"rag"

Somebody care to explain what they're referring to that should have us utterly offended?

That's what the feckless do when they've won the lottery though isn't it? Start spending like mad because they are not used to the opportunities, and that's what they think rich people do when in fact they do the opposite.

Man City are basically a middling club that's won the lottery, and now the fans are behaving like they should be spending huge sums on everything, because that's what they think the big clubs do, despite the fact that the big clubs run very tight carefully controlled ships.

They simply have no clue how to behave.

Any Positives?
Puncheon was apparently hit by a packet of Maoam, a French/German chewy sweet/bubblegum.

This isn't a good thing in itself, as such, but it did bring back some fond memories of teenage escapades on the continent.

Yaya didn't hit a child this time with his multiple row Z shots

I still have one more easter egg to eat

You'd rather Liverpool make top four? ...feck that.
From a purely pragmatic point of view, the long term damage to City of dropping out of the top four would be much bigger than for Liverpool, and Liverpool wouldn't be any danger in Europe anyway.

But I still can't bring myself to hope it happens. feck Liverpool.

I think they realise they haven't a chance of competing with anyone without spending huge amounts of money every year. They need to spend more than anyone else because if they couldn't, they wouldn't even be in the position they are in the first place and finishing in a Europa League spot would be a miracle. I doubt they'll ever admit that though. It's easier to rant and moan about conspiracies and biased officials.

It's like the polar opposite of RAWK, where the mods are a bit too active.

Funny that the Bluemoon laws require that: 'you agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated ... material'.

Pretty sure that describes 90% of the posts that are on there.

Not on Bluemoon but currently on TalkSport Rodney Marsh is arguing that Harry Kane is a better player than both Wayne Rooney and Angel di Maria who are "both finished".. what do they stick in the water that side of the City?

 Exactly.

So if Real Madrid come to their senses and allow Carlo another season, who do City get to replace Pellegrino?

Klopp?

Tbh I would rather Liverpool get CL than City. City at least have some useful players (albeit old) and they will replace Pellegrini with another decent to good manager and one day they might get someone who is not completely clueless in Europe. On top they will get one or two top players if they can offer CL.

Liverpool on the other hand will still be with Rodgers and will sign Lallala or Lovren mk II. And irrespective of CL, which top player is going to choose Liverpool with their average team and Rodgers ahead of United/Arsenal/Chelsea and their better teams and top managers?

Having said this City will probably get top 4 because Liverpool won't be able to overtake them and Spurs are Spurs as usual.

It would be better for us. Realistically Liverpool aren't going to be able to compete with us for transfers while City could. They also have a rebuilding job to do this summer and not having Champions League football could hit hard for player acquisition and staying in line with FFP. I'd happily take Liverpool/Spurs/Southampton for 4th place over City. I really hate Liverpool (a lot more than city) but it's better for us in the long term.

I don't think Klopp would want to go to City. In terms of club stature it feels like it would be a step down or at the very best a sidewards move for him.

Maybe Benitez

Not that anything you say is wrong but my reasoning transcends logic. Liverpool can just feck right off.

City missing out would be interesting for the future of Sterling. He would look like an idiot to leave for city if they miss out and it might just allow us to swoop in and rescue him from the clutches of Brenda.

So in a way City missing out could allow us to really feck with Liverpool...they would go crazy in merseyside. Would be brilliant.

The highest ever league attendance at Maine Rd was a United home game vs Arsenal.

god I hope that's true

the damage forced United to use Maine Road until 1949 - recording the highest Football League crowd of 83,260 (against Arsenal on 17 January 1948).

According to the above, City got just over 84 thousand for an FA cup game in the 30's but we got a higher league attendance at Maine Road than they ever did apparently.

If they miss out on CL football, they'll have a huge problem motivating their players. It's not like they can say 'we're playing for Citeh guys! We don't need no CL or trophies. This is the ultimate club for any players'. Doubt those mercenaries would last even a season without CL football to look forward to.

I think it's the opposite. You just described mercenaries as caring more about the standard of football than the money they're being paid/offered. If they're mercenaries then they'll stay put and collect their pay cheques as always. Not having CL didn't seem to bother Yaya when he joined, the 225k a week saw to that.
