Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

I think the worst thing about the whole site is the auto playing video on every thread. I tend to open several threads that interest me in any forum and then read them.
Laptop's on mute so didn't notice that, but yeah, shit feature.
I've said it before, but the biggest difference between RAWK and Bluemoon is that your average RAWKer is a bit dim, a bit envious but essentially harmless. You could probably still have a reasonable conversation with them about football in the pub.

However, a Bluemooner is innately mean spirited, insanely bitter, incredibly violent and generally a bit of a cnut. They are incapable of referring to us without using the word 'rag' and all of their threads about us include hoping Fergie dies soon or beating up a rag. If they say anything remotely anti-city (as reasonable as it might be) they are outed as a rag.
Tbh looking through some of their threads they just seem a particularly downbeat bunch half expecting to limp in fourth and talking about a clear out. Not much fight left in them re the title. Pellegrino getting plenty of stick too- people calling for him to resign.

Still selling out big arenas with a double platinum album in the last five years. If thats your definition of washed up you must consider your own life a total feck up

Struck a nerve there I see. I had to google if he was still active after that comment, he may be still selling in England by the looks of it but I highly doubt he's known for much other than Oasis outside of the UK. Anyway.. back to topic.

I know loads of city fans and their hatred for United is genuinely worrying. One lad I know must tweet/retweet some anti United shite at least once a day. He only tweets about city when they are playing but tweets about us more when we are playing. I said to him one day that his twitter is making him look insanely obsessed and deluded. Im sure he reviewed his own timeline and saw just how bitter he sounds. Ever since that he rarely mentions United.
Imagine having that mentality though? Having another club at the forefront of your mind everytime you think about football.

I think it is embarrassing and I mean it. Liverpool fans are bad but they at least try and cool off the obsession as they aim to be 'better than that'.

Had a number one album a few weeks back too!

@Trizy

Album went to number 1 in Ireland, 4 in Switzerland, 5 in Italy, number 7 in Belgium, number 8 in Australia and Austria and 10 in Japan.

My money says that those who spout the most shite on there are keyboard warriors for sure. I know a lot of City fans and none of them are as mental as those on Bluemoon. But just supposing they do post on there, well, every time I speak to them they're ok to talk to face to face. None of that rag shite or anything.

Getting sick of hearing this giant talking vagina witter on about how they can 'snatch second'. The rag gobshites are just starting to creep out from under their rocks also after a couple of decent results. Need to dish out a pasting at the swamp, remind the c**ts whos boss.

Yes, we are the c**ts...

It's better that they slowly fade away whilst increasing the debt. We want them to decline slowly with their global support gradually
peeling away. A sudden catastrophic collapse would risk them being taken over by new owners. A slow decline could leave them in the same
position as Randy Lerner and Villa. Be patient and it will happen. I eventually want to see them in the lower divisions (the Conference and below)!

I like how much thought this guy has put into us 'fading away'. They are just SO desperate for us to fail. One post will be about how they don't care about us/how whenever we play them it is our cup final/how the tables have turned. The next will be about how they want us to suffer, go down to the conference or implode financially as a club.

Just thought i'd correct a bizarre stab at a city fan celeb. Felt desperate. Don't want this place to become too bitter.

@Trizy

stupid comments.

massively successful since leaving Oasis and selling out massive arenas all over the world.

Bizarre statement to make

Nothing to do with the fact he's a City fan, I honestly haven't heard or seen him since he appeared in City's training grounds a couple of years back. Then again I'm not from England.

Ha that explains it!

Ha its another bang average album in a long line of them! Jesus the only reason he gets column space is because he has a pop At Ed Sheeran (who is selling more records of late!!).....jesus he's really rock n roll.

Noel Gallagher is a boob, and a bitter. Don't give a cnut how popular he is. Popularity is no measure of musical quality. Have you seen the top 10 selling singles of all time? Bing Crosby occupies #1 and #3. Bing fecking Crosby.

Noel's music is naff. Not sure why people jump to his defence. Oasis haven't been relevant since the 90s and even when they were, they were middle-of-the-road rip off merchants. His solo output is boring bilge.

I used to see that cock in Didsbury sometimes. I didn't know who he was but he looked like a cock. My mate told me it was Noel Gallagher and he still looked like a cock.

thats your opinion, I went to see him a few weeks ago in the o2 he was brilliant, his new album is great too IMO, also one of the best songwriters of the last 20 years

Can a songwriter really be considered one of the best of the last 20 years, when he doesn't possess a shred of originality?

Music is subjective of course, but he's so painfully mediocre.

Coxon > Noel

I used to be a big Oasis fan back in the day, and i don't really mind Noel Gallagher.

But to be fair to Trizy i live in the UK and i hadn't heard much about him in recent years, didn't even know he had a new band until a few weeks ago when i seen he was playing a concert in Belfast.

Any bluemoon quotes? Are they stressed?

Bluemoon seems fairly stable. Not much quote-worthy. They want Pellers gone and have accepted that the title is out of reach. Some want Ancelotti. Some want Vieira/Kidd tag-team. Some want an overhaul. I don't think they can afford an overhaul. They should have sold Yaya in the summer when he and his agent were taking the piss. They could have got big money for him. I don't think they'll get a big fee for him this summer. £12-15m perhaps. Maybe around the same for Dzeko and Jovatic each? I dunno, values of players ie erratic. Knowing City, they'll pull a Chelsea and get massive fees for all their surplus players. Watch them pull in £30m each for Yaya, Dzeko and Jovetic, the little shits.

Nah he's still important....Purely on the basis that he's on an independent label, not on a major and still has success.
The music business is about selling records now as opposed to being about the music as it used to be.

He is a tit alright and he's a true bitter blue and his take on football is absolutely dreadful but, I do really enjoy his music. Especially his last album. Lots of variations and "out there" kind of things that I never expected from him.

But anywho, City must be bricking it at the moment. They've really shat on the pitch

Meh, never been a fan of his music, though I'll admit his current stuff is probably his best, far better than Oasis.

Spent an evening drinking with his dad, had some interesting stories.

FFS, make a thread about Noel Gallagher and keep it out of here.

This is my new favourite insult, I shall endeavour to use it on a daily basis henceforth.

I got it from here. Brass Eye is a firm favourite. If you haven't seen it I recommend it.

I've been using it for many years
I know it's off topic. Sue me.

They really can't get their head around us being above them, and us possibly beating them next week. Strange activity from a fanbase that were used to seeing their team fail miserably and linger around relegation 7 odd years ago. I hope we thump them next Sunday.

Ya I was kinda confused by reading those comments, the way some of their members posted was as if we never finished above them or if we haven't won something in 20 years.. very odd.

Yeah, this was the impression I got. Finishing below us now brings shame on them despite the fact they've only finished ahead of us twice in the Premier League (once on goal difference and last season). It's hilarious reading comments like that after their fans called us self entitled for so many years.

I don't even visit the forum any more, its a horrible read every time.

I can't believe when you sign up, you get a terms of service, which states we have to be referred as 'rags', everything typed, has to mention us and use some derogatory term, and that we are one step away from the conference....

Ok, so that isn't a real ToS, but seriously, its like imprinted in their brains

Do we need to introduce the league table to them?

The obsession with United can be annoying but most of the time I actually feel a little sorry for them.
I grew up with a lad who was a United fan until he realised it wasn't rebellious enough and turned blue (about the age of 12-13 I'd say). Now, every time I go on FB after a United game he's always posting some drivel about one of a number of common topics:
- We bought the ref.
- We were lucky and are on the decline.
- If we've lost then saying how terrible our team is.
- All of our fans are from London etc etc.
There's never anything on there after a City game, it's almost like he is more concerned with how United do then his own club. As I said, mainly I just feel sorry for the guy. A decent City fan is really hard to find.

I know two City fans who were Liverpool fans about 4 years ago. And this isn't one of those RAWK "my Manc friend..." stories, I genuinely kid you not, these two knobheads both switched allegiances as if it was as easy as flicking a lightbulb on and off.

I'm guessing because their sheer hate for United? Otherwise should they not have switched to Chelsea years ago?

I know a 'die hard' 'feck United' City fan that I met through college, was always giving me shit when United lost even if City had not being playing, I met him up town one day with his mates that he grew up with and City came up in topic and all his friends tore into him that he used to be a die hard Chelsea fan only a couple of years ago which he eventually admitted. Very strange how someone who loveds watching footy can change their teams.

in the 90s when they were flirting with relegation some were happy to go down than see us win the league. bitter, twisted bunny boiler obsession

And the two lads I mentioned. One of them I had on Facebook and you could see all his previous posts and pictures where he's supporting Liverpool and then you'd look at his current ones and they're all favoured to City. Everyone including me took the piss out of him for it but his response was that he didn't really support Liverpool when he clearly did. The guy's a buffoon.

And the other lad I'm not too sure what team he supported before (I'm fairly certain it was Liverpool too) but he now has every single City kit since 2011 and has certainly piped up since City's remarkable upturn.

Yeh one of my mates used to be a die hard Liverpool fan. Now he says he 'supports football' and doesn't have a team he supports. Secretly though he supports City. You can just tell when they win, United lose etc. His brother even told me when he came back from watching City he was singing 'City till I die'.

I know a few people who are genuine football fans who have no allegiance to any team. Never understood it.
I also know a City fan and he, like all the rest is deluded and try's to rewrite history time and time again. They're a weird bunch.

I never under stand people who swap their teams.
You pick your team and thats it for life, well thats what I always have believed.
Always been a United fan and will be till the day I pop of to see Sir Matt.
