Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

17 Van Der Gouw's RAWK vs Bluemoon theory

I think the difference between RAWK and Bluemoon is becoming apparent.

Your average RAWK poster may or may not have some level of intellect, but it's normally juxtaposed by a combination of:
a) Delusion
b) Victim mentality
c) Being a Scouse drama queen and
d) Lack of insight/judgement.

The typical RAWK post therefore, might look something like this:

Bluemoon posters on the other hand have basically no intellect, which in combination with:
a) Total arrogance/superiority compex
b) Lack of class on any level
c) Often being 15 years old
d) Not knowing anything about City prior to Arab money/2009
e) Being obsessed with United
f) Not having a grasp on basic English grammar, makes for posts like:

As an aside to this - RAWK posters also have a strange and inexplicable tenacity unseen in any other Premier League club, they hold on to the notion not only that glory is just around the corner (even if they're 7th in the league at Christmas) but also to every affront to their beloved club. Individuals who insult the honour of Liverpool as a city or club become overnight Pariahs. Permanently and unforgivably.

Evra for instance, who having been racially abused by one of their players, now faces constant abuse/boos with every trip to Anfield - merely for the fact that he spoke out about racism.

TL;DR - it's never their fault.

On Paul Scholes

Since when do we gauge ourselves against the actions of that shower of shite?
It's not though he has anything interesting to say, and he looks like he has learning difficulties.
He certainly was unable to learn the National Anthem. Whenever the thick twat played for England, he just stood there as if he were hearing it for the first time!
The littke ginger bastard didnt play much cos that bitter scottish cnut talked him into retirement

Just found this trawling through my imageshack account, I made these in the newbs.

They use real life Bluemoon quotes, taken from the week before we won the league in 12/13.

Was wondering why they would have a meltdown (for the post bump) and whether cake was involved. sadly they're not...

Didn't really know where to put this.

City youth team is on summer camp in Croatia. They played a friendly against Croatian club Rijeka yesterday.
Rijeka was leading 1:0 when City player Fofana made two brutal challenges on Rijeka players in space of one minute and was sent off.
Then Vieira came on the pitch, had a short talk with the ref and decided to pull his team out because of racist chants. Everyone was left in state of shock.

What does UK press say about this..?

It's their second year in a row in the same camp. I sure hope they don't come again next season.

Are you implying that City are feigning racist chanting, or am I reading this wrong?

I did read the headlines saying city went off due to racist remarks. Good on city if they did go off due to racism.

I'm guessing Fofana is black, then? And Vieira felt that the chanting had led him to make those challenges. Terrible that this stuff is still going on regularly.

It's quite possible the reason the kid lost his head was because of the racist chants.

Media here runs with one side of the story and it's expected to hear just the opposite in the UK.
I just wanted to know how they see it.

I'm not implying anything, but reports of racism are becoming quite common thing when coming to these parts, and more often it's reported, less I believe it's truth.

Being racially abused is not an excuse to hurt a random bystander
(If that is what happened as some are guessing)

I can't find any details about those chants but Rijeka has 6 or 7 Nigerian players in their reserve squad and it's not really unusual for croatian supporters to do things like that, even if it means "booing" their own players. Carlos, Belle and Sammir (now Getafe) were usual targets in the last couple of years.

The player he kicked is the person who allegedly racially abused him. Well done to Vieira for taking the team off, absolute disgrace yet UEFA will do feck all about it.

Sad this shit still happens, I mean look at that banners in the spoiler and UEFA don't do anything, useless!

Being racially abused could easily be enough to make anyone angry and attempt to take their anger out on other players.
If you let out your anger out on a player that does not have anything to do with it, you're an idiot imo

Don't be daft. He's just a kid, and we have no idea what the chants were or what the guy has been through before.
So what? What will the other player say in case he's been hacked down and is injured? If you need to let off your anger by badly tackling other people, you're an idiot. Young or not

This is irrelevant. The story seems to be the player he kicked was the one who racially abused him. It wasn't the fans.

He kicked two of them inside one minute. Did they both abuse him..?

Possibly. The fact is we don't know and when a young player accuses another one of racial abuse I'd like to think the initial reaction would be to investigate the claims rather than trying to undermine them. We all saw how that approach turned out when Liverpool implemented it.

Good on City, did the right thing. Never liked the whole "Ignore it" approach.

Nor should guilt automatically be implied in saying that City did the right thing.

Guilty or not, City had one of their players complain of racial abuse. The right thing to do in that situation was to walk off.

I agree to an extent, it is just a difficult situation to manage, if that is the "right" thing to do then what about the cases that are blatant lies like us against Chelsea when they accused the ref ?

City were in the right here, definitely, if it's true.

If it's not, it's a bit more sticky, but I can't see what else Vieira, or the club could have done, they have to take it at face value and investigate afterwards. If the player is lying, I'd expect him to be punished.

If a city player has hacked down an opposing player the game has rules to deal with it and that should be it. If opposing fans are racially abusing a city player and the powers are doing nothing then city were right. Don't confuse the two they're separate issues. To conflate the two is to try to make an excuse for racism and totally unacceptable.

English champions play MLS champions, while a team that finished 7th in the EPL plays LA Galaxy on the same night. The BBC put the United result as their headlines (complete with typical sycophantic pro Van Gaal story) and run it on the headline bar. City's game well , no title bar, no match report; in fact they haven't even reported the result. No bias at the BBC.

I don't understand how the bigger club with the bigger result and a new manager can take all the headlines away from our pre-season friendly. It must be an agenda.
