Bluemoon goes into Meltdown

Do the numpties at RAWK even care about what happens with City? Other than wanting them to beat us I can't see why. Why would they be laughing at them then?

They aren't laughing at all.

Loads of scousers on twitter were crying last night after City's draw.

So I very much doubt RAWK would be laughing at them after a result that hugely benefits us.

Which is loonier, RAWK or Bluemoon? I'd say RAWK wins easily on delusion but Bluemoon on bitterness. Bitterness comes from competition, and even the dippers seem to realise, deep down, that they're not in competition with us any more.

They were no competition for 40 years, but the bitterness has always been off the scale.

I reckon that there is a combination of things that have caused their lack-lustre performances, this time around.
Not staying in Europe is a significant one.
Realizing that their fans can't be arsed to pay to watch their "Galacticos".
Selling their only wide forward in Johnson.
Allowing last year's success to register as an "accomplishment", rather than a "start" (If you know what I mean)

....aaaand, Robin van Perfect coming here instead of there.

We should be hitting our stride soon. If we beat them by a big margin to the title, some of their stars may start looking for a way out in the summer.:D

I've been hearing offline whining about Beckham giving his PSG salary to charity. Apparently it's completely self-serving, especially the fact that he left his announcement until transfer deadline day in order to steal headlines.

Obviously those poor kids would be much better off without the money, and gifting disloyal bacon-necked c**t Carlos Tevez £250k p/w would be a much better use of funds... ;)

In an age when you have City and Chelsea's mercenaries behaving like they do, statements like that about Beckham beggar belief

One thing you cannot fault him for is his commitment on the pitch for whoever he has played for. How many footballers have gone and trained / played for other clubs in their off-season? He's always worked hard to stay fit, and been committed in games for whoever he has played for. He is loyal to his boyhood club by choosing not to play for other English clubs also, and was extremely dignified when the captaincy and later his squad status for England was taken away (nothing like Big Man then who caused a squad revolt and fecked up the World Cup in 2010).

Its the media and a bunch of bitter pundits who have moulded perceptions of Beckham, rather than Beckham himself

Cant understand why City didnt buy a striker. Losing Robatelli might not be a big loss (in real terms, not the bollox fantasy world that he seems to live in), but I'm absolutely made up they didnt bring anyone else in. They're already struggling to score, and they've allowed their strike force to be weakened. Its staggering.

If they'd splashed the cash on someone like Cavanni, it would've send a message to United. As it is, our boys must be rubbing their hands! Bloody hell, I'm buzzing, so our players must ecstatic

Fantastic stuff

Guidetti is rated highly and Balotelli's contribution has been virtually nothing this season.

I really don't think it will effect them much at all.

Yep. I was seriously worried they'd buy someone better (not that difficult, with their funds). Instead they've just made themselves a little worse in a department that's already struggling.

People cant handle the fact that someone in the public eye would do anything that wasnt self-serving. Our society has become so selfish and money obsessed, people simply struggle to get their heads around it. Its sad really

Giving away his salary is an outstanding gesture, and deserves nothing but praise. Legend, end of

I'd be happy with that. They're struggling already, so if you mean they'll continue to struggle (ie dominate possession but not score), then appy days

Seriously, them NOT signing a big name, feels like we have !

To be fair, Aguero, Tevez and Dzeko is still nothing to be laughed at, even without Balotelli. They should be scoring a lot more.

If it was any other player but an Ex United player, it would be applauded has being a fantastic gesture.
Just like Merson on Sky Sports now , slating him saying he should of done it behind closed doors, fecking idiot.

I don't think it's been laughed it but it is stupid to pretty much rely on 3 strikers for 5months.

Tevez doesn't look like scoring at the moment, very similar to his final season at United and Dzeko is much better from the bench. Aguero is seemingly struggling for fitness as well which left Balotelli who has now gone.

If one was to get injured you're stuck with 2 of them and if one is out of form, which you could argue at least 1 of them is at the moment it is a huge problem for them I'd say. In the short term as well they've got no Yaya Toure who allows others to get forward a bit more so without him it limits them some what.

It shouldn't be a problem but it always is, for how ineffective Balotelli was it was another experienced number in the team, to not replace him or let him go in January is a mistake and could prove costly.

When Niall Quinn donated his testimonial money to charity, he was universally lauded.

It's just coz it's Beckham.

I can't believe people would slate him for this. Anyone who does is petty and, frankly, a fecking idiot. Him donating his salary is a hugely philanthropic gesture that will hopefully bring the charity into the limelight and encourage others to look at whether they can give more.

A few hundred years ago rich people built universities, schools and hospitals for people less fortunate than themselves and had the buildings named after themselves. Should we criticise them too?

Beckham has always divided opinion so no matter what he does it wouldn't be good enough for some people that are jealous of his looks, his success, whatever.

feck the begrudgers.

For all the forwards they have bought recently who is their 4th right now? Is it seriously John Guidetti?

He should be given a chance. He did very well on loan at Feyenoord.

I don't get people who say it's laughable that they'll end season with 3 forwards. Didn't we pretty much have three forwards - Rooney, Hernandez and Welbeck - before van Persie arrived? And it was a common opinion that we didn't absolutely have to bring van Persie because we had enough fire power. The last time prior to this season when we had 4 forwards was 2005-06 when we had Smith, Rooney, van Nistelrooy and Saha.

They play with 1 forward a lot anyway. Having Aguero, Tevez and Dzeko to pick from isn't really bad, that's better than anyone but United in the league. Chelsea only have Torres and Ba.

Don't forget about Berbatov. I agree with your point though I don't think City will struggle with having only 3 strikers its rare that they play more than 1.

Indeed I forgot about Berbatov. I still stand by my point - they can get by with their current line-up easily. We had 3 strikers in 2010-11 and won the league (Owen doesn't count, he started about one game the whole season, even Guidetti is far more reliable). Especially when they can easily play with one forward at a time and pack midfield or put someone like Silva in the hole with Sinclair on the wing.

To be fair to a few of them, including the thread starter, it's polarised opinion, but some of the bitterness is unbelievable...

What a bunch of twisted fecktards. They don't deserve to be competing at the highest level, they should be sent back to the championship, where they truly belong.

It's not very nice but by the same logic you would have to relegate United to the Championship as you will hear chants just as bad in the Bishop Blaize outside Old Trafford on a match day. Sadly happens everywhere.

Did Merson really say that? The bitterness from those clownns has reached a new low. It's the worst football show around these days. It used to be great years ago but that's a long time ago now

Not to turn this into an agenda thread though, without telling refereeing decisions going in United favour's in important games (Liverpool/Chelsea/Arsenal) then it would be neck and neck between ourselves and United. Yes we've wasted chances to gain momentum (QPR game for one), but it doesn't help when United are having a bad day at the office and are given a clear advantage in their favour.

Will the myth ever end?

Why do they continually ignore the decisions that go our way - are they literally blind to them?

No, don't bother to answer that.

The myth that we get all the decisions and that the FA want us to win the league or are afraid of SAF can so be so frustrating to listen to but I'm absolutely willing to put up with it when we're lifting trophies at the end of the season.
Then the retards can believe what they want while we're off celebrating

City have gotten a lot more decisions than we have this season. Hell even Arsenal have got a lot more dodgy calls in their favor than we have. However we just manage to win despite the poor decisions going against us (eg. Newcastle, City, Reading etc) so they're hardly ever highlighted.

Totally agree buddy I remember the Chelsea game Dogba off side the Newcastle game never a penalty against Rio and then this season the Spurs game where we should have got a penalty. Key games cost points from refs. There were also things like penalty against Carrick for hand ball yet a few weeks later we got denied one exactly the same Refs aren't for us this is just paranoia on other fans part.

I'm not questioning giving people a chance. I'm just stunned that they've turned over so many.

we also had berba, owen and macheda around.

they clearly ignoring the decisions that went their way in the game actually played between our 2 sides. and the 4 pen decisions that went against us in the 2 games against Spurs. And the countless other decisions.

They have made the full transition to RAWKness

I could not enjoy the game today the minute I saw who the ref was.

I am related to Anthony Taylor

He is a Man United fan and lives in a house full of Man United fans.

I even know he put down Altrincham as the team he supports on the official FA questionaire. How can he be given our games ? Especially a game of such importance.

I'm not saying he had a bad game but he was never ever going to give City any kind of advantage or decisions today. I hear Sturridge has said on tv that the ref said play on for the first Liverpool goal ???????

Twice he allowed their wall to keep edging forward until they were around 8 yards from the free kick in dangerous positions, both hit the wall.

He is a cheat, that is all
