Is it the score that gets most votes by the other members?
I promise, i am not this stupid in real life :)

Yeah, i read the OP, and it was clearly aimed at people who knew the game.
So i just stayed out of it.
Maybe i'll figure it out, and join in on a later one, i'm on this page several times every day, so i might aswell do something, except updating to see if LvG is fired yet :p

The present format is quite new. The old format was simpler: Who wins, A or B? The one with the most votes - won, simple as that. In the event of a draw (which happened a lot), there'd be a penalty shootout to decide the winner.

Now, in an effort to spice it up a bit, you vote for a "realistic" outcome: A or B wins with a 1, 2 or 3 goal margin. Essentially, the voters have to decide 1) who wins the match, and 2) how big a win it will be. 1) is still what determines the basic outcome, however.

If 3 voters go for "wins by 1", 2 voters go for "wins by 2" and one voter (@Akash, probably) goes for "wins by 3", the manager gets six votes. Now, if the other manager ends up with seven people voting for him, he wins the match even if all "his" voters opt for the "wins by 1" outcome.

The "wins by X" options only become relevant if both managers end up with the same amount of "basic" votes. Then a "goal difference" of sorts comes into play. This was introduced because too many matches ended in a draw - and people were tired of the penalty shootouts.

That's the latest match. Identical amount of votes - for the exact same options - for both managers. And so it had to be determined on penalties.

I voted for Balu/crappy, and went with the "...wins by 2 goals" option. If I had changed my vote to "...wins by 1 goal", they would've lost the match on goal difference. And if I had changed it to "...wins by 3 goals", they would've won the match on goal difference.

See? Ain't no thang at all.

Picks are to be Lamb Style. Pick two players and send them to me. If any are picked by another player they are blocked for that round only but the sucessfully drafted players are revealed. This is have three rounds or until each four teams have drafted two players (whichever is earlier). You have 24hrs to pick.
