I thought that the "up" and "down" rounds are independent of each other. So the next "down" round only start when the previous "down" round is finished. Just to make it easier, and probably a bit fair (?).

But that's not the case. And it doesn't really matter for me.

Maybe it’s too early and I haven’t thought much about it…but if the snake gets held up in one direction, isn’t there a chance both snakes could be on the way up or down at the same point (albeit in different “rounds”)?
