I've not seen him play, but I honestly don't know why we're linked with another attacking midfielder. I mean, we've got Pereira, who is at a similar age and plays in the same position. Our priority should be getting someone in a deeper position.

We should avoid doing any more favors for that fecker Mendes. I've never seen this kid play, but if he was that good most big clubs would be all over him, especially at that price. It's not like nobody knows about him, he plays in the league that it's probably most scouted by the big clubs.

If we really want an AM there are much better options out there and most of them don't have an agent that wants to sell them to Real as soon as they develop in a top player.
 
I hope we stay far away from Mendes. There have to be other players out there without "super agents" who like moving players about.
 
Anyone notice how Mendes likes to move his young clients to Portugal or anywhere else [but never to Real Madrid], he then takes them to Real Madrid once they mature, seems to be his modus operandi. I've never been comfortable with Mendes and want us to review our dealings with him. The likes of Juve, City, Bayern and Barca are doing pretty well without relying on him. Having said that, Mensah is a top talent.
