*Dimitar Berbatov looks set to complete a Deadline Day move to Manchester United after the Bulgarian hitman admitted that a move is imminent.

"I am calm about the impending move. The conditions have not always been suitable because Spurs adopted an intransigent stance. But I am sure I can complete a dream," said Berbatov to Bulgarian television.

I will repeat, the only problem people had is that you did not explain what you were saying and was just coming out with claims.

JUANDE RAMOS gave up any hope of Dimitar Berbatov staying at White Hart Lane.
The Bulgarian striker was left out of Spurs’ squad for yesterday’s 1-1 draw at Chelsea.

And Ramos all but admitted he expected Berba to become a Manchester United player before the transfer deadline expires at midnight tonight.

He said: “I don’t know where Berbatov is and he’s not in the right state of mind to play.

looks like ramos and poyet have given up on berbatov completely. Its obvious the only reason weve not got him already is the evil cnut that is levy.
I hope come what may we never do business with spurs again, well at least as hes in charge.
It should be the managers call really, he should pick the team to arrive and leave, shaping the team in his unique image. if he feels a player should have to leave for the good of his team, then it should be his call.
The same thing is happening at chelsea with scolari saying ''transfers and the business of bringing new players in has nothing to do with me'' This is one of the reasons why united are so successful weve got a manager whos in charge.

Tottenham might want £28 mil, and we might only want to give £25 mil, but I'm sure they'll reach an agreement - I really can't see Berbatov playing for Spurs again after all of this - it's in everybody's interest to come to an agreement.

I'll explain. I can understand that people want a new signing when a transfer window is open. What I cant understand is this thread going on for so long, its like the team will fail if we dont sign this guy.

Berbatov is a muppet, what he has done in the last couple of weeks is inexcusable. Im not in the right frame of mind etc..

It doesnt seem to matter to people on here, from what I can see people just want to sign this guy because we will have signed someone. People forget about the whole Ronaldo issue over the summer, lots of similarities here.

Why will Spurs not sell, simple, because they dont have to. Its easy to see that the media and our own fans have created this big void for a striker that I dont think we really need.

Levy is stubborn and if he wants to hold on to Berba then why cant he, we are the ones that are "desperate".

There's too much to be done here and United are not going to hand over 28mil over the next twelve hours.

Lads are holding on to their cocks in expectation of one player when the one player we need will be back in October.
