Bayern Eye Berbatov Swoop

BAYERN MUNICH are ready to end Dimitar Berbatov's Tottenham misery.
Reports in Germany suggest the Bundesliga giants will pip Manchester United to the Bulgarian striker's signature before the transfer window closes.

United boss Alex Ferguson is desperate to sign Berbatov but the Red Devils have not been able to agree a fee with Spurs.

Fear not, it's all done and dusted. Once the Lilywhites get their second replacement, they'll release Dimi's registration and he can have his medical with us, all done by Monday. As BR said, it could be a great weekend ahead what with us winning the Supercup too.
 
We need berbatov to kick up a stink again. didnt he have a meeting with ramos and that and say he wants to go. they must have said youre not going mate unless united offer 30+m. this exorbitant offer doesnt look like coming from united so berba is trying to look happy in training in a building of bridges exersise.
 
Levy trying to force our hand I think. I doubt Bayern have the money, nor Berbatov the desire to join them.
 
I reckon there is a 99% chance that someone is lined up to be signed before monday.

Saha has been a fecking sicknote, but even so i find it highly unlikely that his transfer would have been sanctioned had we not got someone in line to replace him.

The spurs ITK e-mailed me again.

berbatov was seen saying goodbye to his team mates as well as staff after training concluding with a member of staff being seen saying "Don't forget us" - Probably bull with the team mate stuff but the member of staff did say don't forget us.

Ramos said today that "He's undecided if he'll include Berbatov for Sundays game".....

The same as he said last week.

I haven't seen any interview or quotes, but thats what was said on SSN.

I would think that now Saha has gone something is in the pipeline with another forward, maybe at an advanced stage.

Then again im not one of those who have decided Manucho is better than Batistuta without hardly seeing him play.

Thats nice to hear. If its 100% true that was said then he is definitely off. You dont say all your goodbyes to everyone only to turn up again next week. Maybe that is why he was spotted smiling in training today. Apparently he hardly ever does that.
