Berbatov has been included in the Spurs squad for their game tomorrow.

Furthermore, Sir Alex didn't say anything about it in his press conference today it would seem.

Giggs and Anderson may both take some part on Monday.

Tevez is back

Ronaldo may make the Chelsea game on 21st September as he is ahead of schedule in his rehab (about 3 weeks to go)

Good news all-round

So no new surprises then.

I'm shocked we're considering playing Anderson a couple of days after he flys back from China. A bit more desperate than I thought.

The Ronaldo line is no surprise. Great to have him back for the Chelsea game. Wish he could have been there for Liverpool though.

It'd be fecking great though if we beat the scousers without Ronaldo.

One man team eh?

I'd laugh my arse off for months.

Considering Carrick, Park, Hargreaves, Nani, Ronaldo and possible Giggs are all out, it should hardly come as a shock.

Did he say this?

"Tevez is back," Sir Alex told his pre-match press conference. "He’s available. Hargreaves and Ji-sung Park both trained with the first team this week, I’m delighted with that. Ji won’t be considered, Hargreaves we’ll assess on Sunday to see if he can play a part.

"Anderson will be back on Sunday, so that’s an extra body. Giggs has trained the last couple of days, plus all the players have come back from internationals fit, which is a bonus, so we’re ok in that respect."

Are we getting Berbatov? Wonder..
We might be a striker short if you don't buy one now. Hope whatever complications are there will be resolved in the next few days.
But if the club is trying to get him for 3m less than what Spurs are demanding it is a risky business.

Does anyone know the real story other than the newspaper news.

MANCHESTER, England (AFP) - Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson claimed on Friday that he was "less optimistic" of bringing any new faces into the club before the transfer deadline at the end of the month.

Ferguson has been pursuing Tottenham's Bulgarian international striker Dimitar Berbatov this summer yet he is not holding his breath about signing the 27-year-old before the transfer shutters come down.

Asked whether he was any more optimistic than he was two weeks ago about completing any signings, Ferguson replied: "I'm feeling less optimistic right now.

"We are looking at something, but if it doesn't come off then we will carry on as we are."

Even Ronaldo is not happy on Berber's situation.

B.R.> What is your take on this, down to the wire, or no deal?
