Naah, he supported Newcastle as a kid.I'm sure Berbatov would rather eat his own foot than sign for Newcastle.

Twisted Woody, i have often wondered is that a seagulls skull Keano is holding in front of his face, and, if so...why?

Greatest player everKarimitar Benzetov
I seem to remember it was a Raven skull - a prop from the Observer Sports Monthly photographer. (?) This year that cover was adjudged the best provided for that publication since it's inception.
Skull? and here I thought it was Alfie's knee
Ok that was in bad taste but seriously I think it is a bird of some sort - seagull perhaps.
Why? - that is a good question and I don't have an answer lol

Yeah, Pelo, Maradonno and Besto had unfair advantagesHis name doesn't end in an O so that makes it kinda hard.
boys, just imagine this team playing, and it will sooth the anxiety a little

Good repostoYeah, Pelo, Maradonno and Besto had unfair advantages
Or just imagine this team playing, it's solid all round, creativity right through the team and there are no weaknesses in it:
Van Der Saar
Wes, Rio, Vidic, Evra
Ronaldo, Scholes, Carrick, Nani
Rooney, Tevez
Wait a minute...
ThankyoGood reposto

where's the Berbometer at?
anyone have a Berbometric pressure reading?
I agree with pretty much all of that.Honestly, I can't believe some of the postings on here...whether or not Berbatov plays in the starting line-up or not, HE WILL SIGNIFICANTLY STRENGTHEN OUR ALL-ROUND TEAM!
Ferguson will probably start him yes, but point remains, our team will be better for having Berbatov.
I'm getting increasingly frustrated as well - every morning, jump on the computer hoping for good news, and every day get knocked back - it's infuriating!!
I still think we'll get him - the window only ends on August 31st so we've got some time, but to be honest, we need to get him sooner rather than later.
brown is a weakness on the attack
nani is inexperienced and is still a bit hit and miss,
i was just suggesting that team to get the taste buds flowing at its potential
your slowly turning into ekeke

I'm not really. I'll be back to normal when people stop talking about the need for a striker. I'm fine with the whole idea of 'Berbatov would improve our team', but saying we need him is an exaggeration/overreaction.
I actually normally agree with what you say. Although I have to admit I hate the idea of playing Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez and Berbatov in the same team.
Fergie getting tired. He obviously needs a Ramliberber.where's the Berbometer at?

I think my position is mainly that he would impove our squad.
As regards our team - if we are fortunate with injuries, suspensions, familial disasters etc. over the season then his presence, whilst probably slightly beneficial, would be something we could afford to be without. However, the reason I think most of us (& SAF I suggest) would like another striker, is to provide cover in the event that our luck is not so good.
This thread has potential to go above and beyond the Ronaldo thread.
And to add variation to our attack
we need a striker, we need another option and berbatov would provide that, all the speculaiton is sending everyone into a transfer frenzy because of the fact we could be that bit better with him in our side, which is frightening.
why do you hate the idea of them all in the side? how could you hate that idea?
True but options do. We cant play one attacking system all seasonI think we could still win the league without him. Need is the wrong word imo.
Two reasons; 1. I doubt SAF would ever play that team. 2. Trying to accommodate too many attacking players in the team never really helps the teams balance.
