Right! after this im saying, pay the fecking 30m they want. were desperate, watching how deep rooney and tevez play, and saha? and manucho? it could turn out to be good business in the end.
All the problems that exist in the world would instantly evaporate if we just sign berbatov!

Perhaps everyone saying 'pay them what they want' might like to consider B9's view that Spurs will only sell if they are confident of a replacement - a possibility that seems to be receding.

Now that we have some more Silvestre money and a vacancy in the squad it would be logical for us to do something now. Watching England play just reminded me of our team. Rooney dropping so deep and playing everywhere but no consistent presence up front. Berbatov would be the man for the job. When he is motivated, he is a silky genius that makes the game look easy. Just pay up or move on but we need someone in (and Saha sold).

You said what i tried to say really but without the alchohol induced sensasionalism.

We haven't bought Tevez, and made a lot of money in the transfer market in the year prior to the signing of those players.

Then where is the money we got for winning the CL.

we have the money to spend if we want, just that we do not want to over-pay.

Maybe im getting a bit cranky but this is getting frustrating. All we have done is sell and loan. We are waiting for a work permit and a transfer that we need. The end to this period cant come soon enough.

Maybe we don't have enough cash to sign Berbatov ?

:boring:

Finally, from the newbies:

according to Setanta "Spurs are ready to let Berbatov join Manchester United"

The Wales game isn't relevant to the other title either.

It's because the main pic refers to what's being said and they run a news ticker above - using the ticker below for results and upcoming transmissions.

Different screen.

Likewise, the Wales-Georgia match also has nothing to do with Berbatov.
I figured as much thanks.

You have to be pretty shit not to thrash the faroe islands

I have a feeling we´ll get some news tomorrow.

Don´t take me too seriously though.

£750k from Silvestre's transfer will be enough to cover 3-month expenses of Berbatov's wages at best. Or pay the agent fees if the deal goes through. I mean, that's not even enough to buy a rather comfortable house in a good area.
