***stays on here***

I know a man who is named Linus Maher and is good friends with a senior figure at Coutts Bank. He was named after Linus van Pelt, fictional friend of equally fictional Charlie Brown. Anyway, enough about him. I also know someone who's doing a work placement at Brabners Chaffe Street LLP Solicitors - he says that Maurice Watkins (who's joint senior partner at the firm) received a call from a telephone located elsewhere at around noon. Maurice Watkins smiled on more than one occasion during the conversation, and even bore an expression my friend described as halfway between sheepish and aroused. He then wrote something down on a piece of paper, giggled, threw the said piece in the litter bin and left the office. Once he'd safely left the premises, my friend retrieved the discarded note from the refuse and it read: 'Dimitar Watkins. Dimitar Berbatov Watkins. Dimi4Mo.' - MOTWYW

Great Avatar Bro - More so since the summer of discontent.

Hi all,

I've been signed so you can all breath a sigh of relief now lol.

Anyway, back to business....

I'd advise people to keep an eye on http://www.betfair.com as they have the odds up for Berbatov to stay or go, which are constantly changing.

Click sports, do a search for Berbatov and the link will show up on the list of results.

Currently it's 5/2 for him to stay 1/7 for him to go.

Last night he was as high as 7/1 to stay and as low as 1/25 to go.

They are up and down the whole time, with people betting according to speculation, but there are alot of people in the know too I'm sure, so if you see any heavy wagers going on, it may indicate something.

Welcome aboard Berbatov 9. You've just joined the big boys in the nut house! :D

Welcome Berbatov, looking forward to hearing your in the know information :)

Moody, Squirrel feeding Cnut!

I think there's more chance of me growing a pair of large juicy tits than Berbatov signing before the weekend.

Midnight signing on August 31st here we come!

Thanks guys, any info I get I'll post it asap, but hopefully the deal will be done and dusted soon anyway.

I dont like that site - they are giving Chelski shorter odds for the Premiership.

The squad numbers haven't been officially released yet either, but I see on Uniteds website that Rafael is down as No.21, which is currently Dongs number, and he is still visible as No.21 also.

Perhaps Spurs have their replacement for Berbatov in Dong :p

Probably waiting for him to come back from the Olympics before finalising the deal

Berbatov scored 49 goals for me in a PES 08 season i've just finished. :D

IF the Berbatov deal happens, i hope he's given the number 9 jersey. Saha does not deserve it IMO.
