I have sky sports news on right now and there is absolutely nothing about any press conference at United.

I have only just switched over to it, but no breaking news bar on there at all.

I suspect its yet another hilariously unfunny wind-up :mad:

Those press conferences are usually done on Fridays. That being said, I don't think there's any chance of this press conference (if it exists) will have something to do with Berbatov.

His end goal seems to be getting the maximum amount of money for him. If he gets £28mil, then he’s done his job.

Why should he care if he is “becoming a joke amongst many footie fans”?

It was a joke, loosely based on Chelsea's laughable 5pm "World Exclusive" yesterday. If you were thick enough to think it was anything more, then you must be VERY dumb. Especially as a minute later i posted "Tea Lady signs 5 year, £140 per week deal."

I think some people here should calm down. If you are that near to climax, then i suggest having a quick look at some porn and relieving yourselves all over your keyboard.

Most people are reading RedCafe in the hope of seeing some news on Berbatov and can't watch SSN as they are at work etc.
It does not really bother me as I don't expect any movement on Berbatov for another week or so. But it's not a very good joke to get peoples hopes up that something "dramatic" is happening. For a lot of people it seems that the sun will fall from the sky if Berbatov is not in the team against Newcastle.

we are not going to sign Berbatov and we have extended ronaldo contract to 10 years :D after deciding to pay ronaldo 20m on top of what he is getting now...i think thats the annoucement , just close this thread now.
