Salzburg>Liepzig>Dortmund
 Why would he go from Leipzig to Dortmund? Aren't they pretty much rivals for Champions League spots? Pretty sure after Leipzig it will his big move to a top club if he hits it off.

So i did some research of my own and I agree with the sentiment.

The kid has serious potential and I definitely think we should throw the kitchen sink at him , you just know he's gonna cost a fortune in a year when he tears down the Austrian league, better get him now than to blame ourselves for not getting him when we could.

Hasn’t he agreed to go elsewhere? Isn’t this now a close thread situation?

From a club's point of view, yes. From a player and his agent's point of view, more game time and also a club with more stability probably a better idea.

He'll get some decent game time this season and will probably be first choice next seasons if martial doesn't bother again.

I read Michael Olise turned down other clubs and joined Crystal Palace for the same reason.
I suppose it makes sense of you rate yourself and are sure of your capabilities as it gets you the best long term contract, but it also has the potential to massively backfire as one mediocre season could lead to an eternity of existence in Midtable.

I genuinely see no reason why he shouldn't fancy coming here, he gets to play in a big club which unlike others can uncharacteristic afford giving him a ton of playing time, we're basically diabolical upfront, he should take the chance.

How far have we sunken when someone choses Leipzig over us? It's embarrassing.

These young talents are exactly what we need but none of them wanna come.

He’s staying within the Red bull group, I guess it’s a ploy to keep him until they can sell for 80 million.

He probably had little choice in the matter.

Moneyball!

Wait no, you can't do that. We got low balled by red bull. That orange fizzy piss can go feck it self.

I think this is the best decision for his development and our national team; joining this mess of a football club would be a mistake.

Although it would be amazing to see a fellow Slovenian in United.

correct me if I'm wrong, but now that RB Leipzig have had their offer of 24mil euros accepted, wouldnt Salzburg be obliged to also accept if United offered the same (Šeško stays on loan for 1 year) lets say 30 mil ? I mean how would they justify turning it down?

We're not part of their company.

But I agree they should be obliged to accept the same offer, they're not though

They doesn't need to justify anything to be fair. They are not obligated to accept any offers. They can sell to whoever they want.

@Raees just out of interest.. what (/if anything) did he reply to you after you told him to come to United?

He was never going to reply to that, would seriously harm negotions with Man Utd or any other club. Because he’d obviously share it/tell people and it would go viral.

Bundesliga tax will see him bag a good 20 G/A and off he pops the season or two after for a 80m move. Smart stuff by the “rasenball” clubs

Dude, when was this research done? He’s already agreed to go Leipzig yesterday.

The list of potentially very good strikers available to United in the coming 12 months seems to be whittling down rather quickly...

New stars always emerge. A couple of seasons ago Nunez's scoring record wasn't that great. Nkunku will probably be the big target for clubs next summer but we would need CL football.

I really hope we start rolling that red carpet out right now. RBL are going all-in on the Bundesliga this year and have a good side. Depending on what happens they'll be more open to selling Nkuku next year.

gutted :( ... whilst its admirable in a way that he is in no rush to make a big move.. I just really think the stars would have aligned for him at United and Ten Hag would be the perfect coach to take him to the next level .. well thats him out of circulation for 3 years .. wake me up in 2025 :wenger:

Such a shame. He looks really talented from the clips. Could have been one to get excited about tuning into to watch. Instead we'll tune in to watch a 33 year old ex Stoke man.

Need a pro active and well run club to actually bag them though.
