The boy will only get more expensive next summer.
And the rest are Balkan at the price tagYou lot are Balkan mad
He's not going to get more expensive than 55m playing in the Austrian bundesligaThe boy will only get more expensive next summer.
True, but if he has a stormer this season, other big clubs will get interested in him and we may not be able to get him. By all accounts, Real Madrid, Barca and Bayern all will probably need a striker in the next 1-2 years. He's not going to get more expensive than 55m playing in the Austrian bundesliga
Probably the way to go.Think we should try to sort out a £25-30m fixed fee with performance related add ons that take it closer to what they are looking for. Similar to the type of deal we did for Martial.
Sounds more like a Liverpool player. Balkan with hope in his heart. You lot are Balkan mad
Spin it how you like, £55m for a 19 year old who has played 38 matches of Austrian first league football is audacious. Adeyemi went for nearly half of that and he had triple the games under his belt.He had a release clause…
Besides, striker prices have exploded and Salzburg have built a good reputation of nurturing very bright talents.
He also has a long contract and at the moment there seems to be no talk of a release clause. Their season has already started. The player will be a regular in the team possibly in CL as well, so other than salary also no need to rush anything from the players side.
Salzburg have countless reasons to ask for a very high price if they were to sell him this summer.

It's crazy how people are saying we should spend more than what Haaland and Adeyemi went for.

It's the way we work never learn. Well except for the Malacia deal don't know how we got that done so quickly.Leaving it so late will have its own consequences.
People complaining that the club is reluctant to spend big on Sesko yet if they are honest they had no idea who he was until the other day.

You’re looking at it only from a United POV. As you correctly stated, they have already sold Adeyemi, a much more important player for them, for a reasonable sum this year. So the price is not a „piss-take“. They don’t want to sell Adeyemis successor in the same window, especially not when the season has already started. Hence it would take silly money to convince them to change their stance. Bit similar to Ajax with Antony.
Think pretty much everyone is stunned with that price tag. It's not a price tag, it is a clear "feck off" sign.
Only heard of him last week when I bought Adeyemi on FM and this lad then put three past de Gea in a friendly the following week
Exactly and you can’t blame the club for refusing to meet it
You lot are Balkan mad
Ridiculously overrated fee. Insultingly so.
On no planet is he worth that especially when Adeyemi went for £27m.
The price tag is worth it, I've heard he can shoot so hard the Balkan tear the net.And the rest are Balkan at the price tag
Ffs, probably just their opening demand but still ridiculous. Hard to believe we'll get any fee below £30m if they're quoting that. Don't think it's worth it unfortunately. A shame because he looked quite exciting. Think we should be looking at the loan market for this season tbh. More and more clubs appear to be taking this approach and when you see fees like this you can understand why.
Nah, send him to Antwerp for a year. Is Ronnie Wallwork still there?Buy and loan back. Unless Ronaldo goes.
Sure, and don't see many, if any posters claiming we should pay that.
Yes, United legend in my save. Although we were taken to the cleaners in the game as well where we spent 70m on him but that was in 2025. So art imitating life or rather life imitating art?I'm sure I'm not the only FM player who knows this kid is gold....on FM anyway!
It is going to be hard for us to break away from the reputation we have built up for being bent over and bullied with transfer fees (in and out, ooo-er missus) especially as we have just spunked £55m on Martinez (I am happy we have the player but??)Ffs, probably just their opening demand but still ridiculous.
