It was something linking out of favour Digne with Chelsea due to Chilwell’s injury.
Yeah there have been credible links between us and Digne - seems a sensible short-term option as Chilwell might be be ready for next season given his ACL was only a partial tear.

I always think if that phrase gets mentioned about a player then you're better off not having them around at all. It's even worse to consider signing a player with that being part of the discussion.
Plenty of Palace fans not happy about another short term loan from Chelsea but we’ve run Tyrick in to the ground for two seasons, literally got no alternatives. Should be a very useful player for us.

Hope he does well mainly for him but to also give us a fighting chance of ofloading him but I just don't see it.
He'll get more game time because Palace are nowhere near as good but performance wise i can't see him doing any better than Sterling did at Arsenal, the injuries have absolutely ruined him.

For now. He's had a few injuries, but never really been a permacrock like Chilwell with constant knee and hamstring problems.
Honestly can't think of a player transfer where gambling on them staying fit has actually paid off.
Chilwell having basically the past 4 months off might help his long term fitness. He's certainly not been rushed back!
Its 2025 and some fans still treat him like he's one of the best LB around based off of 6 months of good form under Tuchel in 2021.
