This was the guy who said Perez had gotten cold feet about DeGea hours before everyone knew the deal was messed. He's tight with Mendes.

He is a twitter fraud.

 That conjured up an image of Phil Jones in the penalty area against Arsenal last year! There is a gif of it on the caf somewhere!

Think to be honest if we miss out on Mou I might be just about done with football, if we go with Giggs we're history.

If the Adidas deal actually gets gutted by 30% if we don't make the top 4 next season, there is absolutely no way we're not going with Mourinho.

He's always said that his dream is to win the Champions league with 3 different teams. That played a role in him joining Madrid.

He'd be taking a huge risk joining us. Seeing as he wont even be managing in it next season if he joined.

If he's willing to sacrifice all that to get the job, then he must really want the job.

But he would Chelsea by coming to us?? Surely he cares about Chelsea's supporters a hell of a lot more using that logic.
Chelsea and United arent really rivals, except when competing for the same trophies.

Mata was getting a standing ovation at Chelsea just the other week while playing for us. Mourinho would get the same. They know he wanted to stay in England, but things didnt work out.

Its different with Inter and Juve. He promised Moratti that if he returned, it would be to them.

And that sums up the failure of ed woodward has a chief executive, the fact he did not see this pattern earlier, really should see him gone

No really knows what's going on, and I reckon talks and plans are ongoing. But the latest story doesn't surprise me, fits the Woodward ran United perfectly.

I thought this Rodriguez bloke was a fraud?

if he meant to sign Jose we would do it after that bad run of results. Can't see Woodward lying to Van Gaal of not appointing Mourinho but maybe it's just a game behind the scenes.. I really hope we don't go for that Mouron

Is there credible sources this is the case?

Details of the Adidas deal highlight, however, the changing nature of United's sponsorship agreements, with the 10-year tie-up linked to performance on the pitch unlike previous partnership deals.

United will see the £75m-a-year payment drop to £52.5m if they fail to qualify for the Champions League for two successive seasons.

I've never wanted Jose at United but things are so fecking shit at the minute I'm desperate for him.

Can't see the club taking that risk then. Lose CL money and Adidas money, shit will get real, real fast.

Maybe, but getting Mourinho and throwing another £150 million at the squad guarantees us nothing, especially as the prem clubs are only going to get stronger, plus they won't sell their best players anymore, but we'll miss out on £40 million + next season, and potentially £70 million + the following so they have to do something decisive for sure.

Mourinho wouldn't need another £150m to get this existing squad into the top four, imo. The existing management team is grossly underperforming given the talent available to them.

this - better manager would get better results with the players we have. feck it I could. LVG is just shit at his job.

True, it's just the opposition in the prem that worries you most, Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, City, us, and to a lesser extent Liverpool all scraping for 4 places, added to that we have clubs like Leicester that could spring up more often in the future, and the top 4 could become the top 3 if we don't start doing better in the CL, it's hugely competitive and can easily be missed out on nowadays.

But yes we have a better team than we are showing atm, a top defender, and winger would make a huge difference aswell

Yep. Consecutive managers have now fooled the world into thinking the squad is badly deficient. I call bullshit. We may not have many world class players, but we have some very good ones. Top four shouldn't even be a debate. Frankly, looking at our rivals, I think it's criminal that we're not challenging for the title. The winning mentality at this club has been killed in just under three years. Our succession planning has been amazingly bad.

This.

Mourinho would need no more than 60-70m (a CB and a fwd) to guarantee United get top 4.

Whether he would take a job that sees him at a disadvantage against guardiola is another question.

I think, he would ask for at least as much as to put him on a level playing field with city.

If this is true, what the feck is Mou in a hurry for? Its not like he has jobs lined up and he has to decide quickly. Not one top team is available at the moment.
Maybe PSG, as it seems Blanc is having problems with the dressing room. Not sure he'd find it all too challenging managing in a one team league, though.

PSG is not a big enough challenge for him. Plus he has iterated the fact that he wants to stay in the Premier League.

moyes saying he needed 5-6 world class players to compete in CL not win but compete before a ball was kicked. not what you kick off your season with. fecking div said that to or about the defending prem champions. LVG comes in and buys players gets back to 4th and is hailed a god by some. 4th is not good enough. and it's not like he started well nor did he finish well last yr but the board and fans were happy because he "righted the ship" , was "building a new foundation like he did at (insert club name)" and pulled the wool over everyone's eyes. started this season well enough but ffs the football was shit and because we didn't lose games and "can't fire him while we're in a CL position". well those shit games became the norm not the exception. so i'd have fired him earlier , and most certainly the day after jose got shit canned. but sir bobby doesn't like him.

It is not true, I am pretty sure this guy is fake and spouts some shite.

Blanc has just signed a 2 year extension
OK, but we all know in this day and age contracts mean the sum total of feck all. I don't even know if there's a problem with the players there, but it seems like it. Luiz undermining him, now this crazy interview which goes beyond that. Just curious if there's a lack of respect for him more broadly.
