LVG won't be sacked before the final league game. That's certain. After the game, when it is confirmed that we are finishing 5th,6th or 7th, everyone will know, including him that FA Cup is his final game. He will be given a chance to resign or be sacked. He would resign so that he doesn't have to face a humiliating exit from football. He would still be given the severence package of a sacked manager. Then we will interview Mou, Poch, etc. And then hire Roberto Martinez as our manager

We should be hiring Jose even if we make 4th. There is no possible reason to keep Louis.

'I shall be resigning after the FA cup title. You, fat man, are you happy?'
This will be 1 thing i will miss about LVG, he is a complete nutter.. His press conferences were always fairly funny but that is the only thing I like about Louis...

I'll sacrifice that calmly for "he is a specialist in failure, I am not"

Would you want LVG to keep his job if he manages to get the top 4 finish and win the FA cup?

I wouldn't.

Mourinho all day.

I cannot wait for the undercover digs at Wenger and Pep. Maybe even Conte if he starts his Chelsea reign poorly.

I want everyone to start hating us and our manager again

If we get top 4 it'll be a gigantic let off at this point. City have handed us chance after chance and we've failed to capitalise on every single one.

In short, no. Definitely not.

I'm seeing a lot of Mourhino talk on Twitter in the last 30 minutes. Is something happening?

Even if he did manage it, Shitty (and Arse) have handed us a top 4 place on a plate several times, we should have had it wrapped up weeks ago, we've just refused to capitalise. That's why I agree with you, if we are jammy enough to make top 4, we will barely deserve it and LvG will have to go.

I had such great hopes for him and I am really surprised how poorly the team has performed, because they appear to like him.

I think its just because there is an investor call on, but the call wont be addressing any managerial change anyway so its just smoke for today I reckon.

Your lack of faith disturbs me.

If there is any article in Italian that needs translation let me know

''We are pleased to announce José Mourinho will take over from Louis van Gaal... When his contract ends May 2017''

No. I would not want my captive to make me eat donkey shit for another year just because he decided to give me a cupcake one day.

That's a good analogy.

I've noticed that when we win one game, a lot the fans suddenly love LVG.
They forget that we are in 5th place, out of the CL, out of EL, struggling to score more than 1 goal per game. etc.
1 win and all our problems are forgotten and LVG forgiven.

The only reason why I want LVG replaced is because he cannot do better than 4th place. Not because we won or lost 1 particular game.

Don't start putting stuff from the investor call in here, it has jack shit to do with this thread.

I think Louis has too much pride to announce that he's leaving in front of his enemies in the press.

Who? Who forgets our problems, or forgives LVG, after a win?
