First one off is When Tiger Woods will be playing his first match for 2009.

Found this when I was doing some research this morning...
When Associated Press Golf Writer Doug Ferguson puts fingers to keyboard, the outcome is worth reading.

Go to any press conference at a top tournament and Ferguson will be sat on the front row asking most of the questions.

So when he writes that Tiger Woods will "likely make his '09 debut at the Accenture Match Play Championship" there's every reason to believe him.

The Woods comeback question is the first entry in his article '6 questions for golf tour in 2009'.

He writes: "His last shot was a tap-in par on June 16 to win the U.S. Open for his 14th career major. Woods had reconstructive surgery on his left knee eight days later and has been MIA on the golf course since.

"His wife is expecting their second child in February, so he won't return before then. Woods began taking full swings with short clubs in December, and assuming there is no swelling or other complications when he resumes a full practice routine, he likely will make his '09 debut at the Accenture Match Play Championship the last week in February.

"Woods believes he will be stronger than ever, finally able to swing against a stable left knee, and there is no reason to doubt him."

Presently Woods is 6/1 to make his 2009 Debut at the accenture with some firms
 
A quick one for tonights darts if anyone is looking a bet....

Montgomery @ 5/4 Vs Hankey

Montgomery has had a better season and is higher up in the rankings than Hankey (not the best form guide but whatever). Played well in the Winmau beating Mark Webster and got to the final of a Setanta tourney. On his way he knocked out Robbie Green who had in the previous round beat Hankey.

At best this is a 50/50 match

A good bet today for you.... Addict - Stick a few quid on this.

Will MacKenzie Top 10 finish at the Mercedes Open.. Guy has history with this tournament and with ony 33 golfers playing here and no cut - the 6.5 available on Betfair should give people a small sweat over the weekend...

Also another one I fancy is Dustin Johnson @ 5.5 again did very well here last year and had a tour win late 2008....

Agree with you on that Addict....

Murray is playing superb stuff and have not been too impressed with Federer.

OOur 2 golfers had an ok start... Bith had fecking double bogie's which destroyed an otherwise solid round...

Johnson went down to +3 and birdied 4 in a row
 
Murray a better bet at 3.6 now after losing the first set on a tiebreak, lost the first a few weeks back against Federer and came back to win.
 
6-2 Murray. Hope you got on, good trade opportunity now with Murray at 1.80.

Expect the final set to go the distance, over 10 games if you can get it.
 
Surprised Federer didn't put up a fight in that third set but made a nice profit after the first. :)

Murray's just a nightmare to play against at the moment, he forces players into errors and backs it up with that vastly improved serve.
 
I like the look of Reading tonight.

They have a lot of key players back including Doyle.

MacKenzie had a double Bogie at 17th to go from 5th to 12th the stupid wanker... Johnson came 11th.....

so fecking close to pulling probably one of my best betting coups ever.

Baz I've taken your tip and stuck a fiver on there to be over 2 goals @ 1.51.

Hopefully will net me some much needed cash, albeit only about £2 profit.

Still, this small amount will turn into thousands eventually.
