Yeah I'd say so. You HAVE to punish that error. Unacceptable.
The pass was bad, yes that's true. But why are people blaming him for goals 1 and 2?110% both goals 2 and 3 are on him
He's the reason Casemiro got sent off with that ridiculous mis-pass.
Unacceptable. He needs to be dropped.
Not blaming him for goal 1 but you could argue he's to blame for goal 2.The pass was bad, yes that's true. But why are people blaming him for goals 1 and 2?
Onana maybe shit.I can’t believe that people wanted DDG gone, the defence looks so u stable with Onana behind them. DDG would not have made these mistakes. Onana definitely needs to be benched now.
ETH will die on the Onana hill.
I can't tell if you lot are serious or not here?
- First goal is on Dalot, a weak argument to say it's also Varane's issue, a terrible argument to blame the keeper.
- Second, no chance.
- There's a tenuous argument that Onana could save the 3rd, I don't really see what you all expect though as he has to choose a side or stand up - he chose a side and got lobbed, literally happens all the time. Icardi has a one on one, it's not like he's facing Maguire. Anyone with a brain can see Amrabat gives the ball away AND plays Icardi onside and then we have a comically slow CB pair getting outpaced by a comically slow striker. So if you want to blame Onana, make sure you go start an anti Amrabat, anti Lindelof, anti Varane thread whilst you're at it.
See replyAre you ignoring the criminal mistake that led to the Casemiro red card and essentially gave us no chance in the game?
De Gea got almost all of his criticism because of mistakes. I tried to give the benefit of the doubt but Onana is providing a similar number of mistakes just without the high level of goalkeeper that De Gea at least provided.
If we drop Onana now, we may aswell sell him in January (not saying if that's necessaily a bad/good thing). His confidence will never recover.
Always worth remembering how poor De Gea looked at times in his first season. He had a defence that was mostly pretty good still.
I heard he's worse than onana?
See reply
I've no issue saying what is a clear Onana error but there's people saying he should save 1 and 3 which just seem ridiculous.
At this rate I rather play Maguire as GK than Onana. No he really doesnt.
You cant drop a goalkeeper everytime he makes a mistake.
I know Onana’s been shite. But he’s our best keeper still.
That's honestly madNah he’s not at fault for the goals. Maybe a better keeper could have saved them but I wouldn’t consider them errors.
He still takes most of the blame for the loss either way.
That's honestly mad
110% agree. Why is it mad? We were a man down because of him and we could have easily got ourselves back into the game the we way we were playing with 11 on the pitch. His mistake changed everything.
The ironic thing is DDG still doesn't have a club.Do we really expect him to be any good??
Get on the phone to DDG and grovel.
I hope he’s laughing his ass off.The ironic thing is DDG still doesn't have a club.
A cynic would say DDG was expecting this and was hoping for a call back
He gave a penalty away and got Casemiro sent offI can't tell if you lot are serious or not here?

Yep, that pass was poor. Was talking about the goals/save attempts. He gave a penalty away and got Casemiro sent off
