Bangladesh v India-First Test

We still don't have anywhere near enough fast bowling talent in reserve to cover for injuries.

Hopefully this'll lead to at least 2 retirements and see the introduction of a couple more of our standout youngsters will get their chance against Sri Lanka.

I'm quite happy to pretend this never happened.

So, then, anyone know when the second test's going to start?

what the hell is mortaza doing batting so low??

His test average was 9 before this series. His batting has improved immeasurably in the last 12 months.

He's fine batting at 8 to be honest. He's not an all-rounder by any means (yet). The fact that he made so many runs is more of a testament to how flat the pitches were and how badly our other batsmen batted.

I see. Anyways who do bangladesh and india have next on their cricketing calenders??

We have Sri Lanka.

3 test matches and 3 one-dayers.

Bashar's having handed over the one-day captaincy (and possibly the test one too) will see us make a huge improvement.

But to be honest we've blown our best chance of winning matches for the year. A Sri Lanka side including Malinga, Vaas and Murali are on a completely plane to a second-string Indian one.

With Ashraful's attacking captaincy, we could have brought that first one-dayer home at the very least and made more of our bowling in the first test. We also wouldn't have elected to fecking bowl in the second one.

You lot have England in July. Should be one of the more fascinating series this year.
