Bangladesh v India-First Test

Our ever-spastic selectors have chosen to omit two of the best young batsmen in the world and select two players who've spent several years proving they're not up to standard.

Thereby making an already one-sided affair even more one-sided.

I'm fecking fuming.

Damnit. I was gonna start this thread with a capitalized "Clash of the cricket Superpowers" or something in the title.

Apparently this is the flattest pitch ever prepared in Test Cricket history... or thereabouts.

Appropriately, the Indians are scoring at almost 6 an over.

I feel ill.

Meanwhile the pitch is breaking up like mad which means the Indians will cash in on the first couple of days and then we'll have to deal with their spinners on a dustbowl and look like spastics.

Sack the groundsman.

295-3.

India should declare at around 600. and then let loose the spinners

The ball started keeping low during that third session.

It'll be a fecking nightmare batting on day 3, never mind day 5.

77.3 Enamul Haque jnr to Tendulkar, 1 leg bye, Huge shout for lbw from round the stumps, arrives a floater on the middle stump line. It landed outside off, drifted in and Tendulkar shapes to paddle sweep, misses and it hits him on the pads. Again another close shout for lbw. It would have taken out the leg stump. Hmm... Umpire Harper doesn't agree.

Another clear cut LBW not given. That's fecking three now.

It's hard enough being the most limited team in the world without the fecking umpires playing for the opposition as well.

Bangladesh FFS

Good work by the Indian selectors by predicting damage control before the World Cup itself

The good thing though is the Indian media have finally realised their standards in cricket by dubbing this series a "Revenge Series"

Hopefully we can remove the tail before Dhoni does too much damage.

And you can stop laughing too, you cashed in on a ridiculously flat first day wicket and both Tendulkar and Ganguly were plumb LBW a long time before they made their tons.

We could have been into the tail before you reached 300 but for spastic umpiring.

I hope someone talks them into a post-stumps yachting expedition on the Bay of Bengal.

Nice to see Tendulkar and Ganguly scoring against world class opposition.

Actually Ganguly did quite well in South Africa so I don't see where you're coming from

Spastic umpire strikes again as Javed Omar is given out LBW to a ball that pitched well outside leg stump.

Spastic Bashar strikes again as Bashar attempts to to play at a swinging delivery on off-stump, somewhat spastically.

The umpires and Bashar have been India's best players during this one.

Nafees, Sakib and Saleh have made 32, 27 and 41 respectively and then gone out playing idiotic shots.

We should be 3/200 now.

They need a kick up the arse.

Well.

This day turned out a lot better than I'd predicted 3 hours ago.

I reckon us and Bangladesh should have a common team.Next superpower I say.

Looks like the rain's going to delay the start for a few hours at least, although most likely we won't get any play at all.

Pencil in a draw then.

Ok maybe not Ganguly. But Tendulkar seems to consistently bottle it when we need him the most.

Was almost an exciting finish, but some piss-weak tactics from Whatmore killed it.

Good result in the end. The Dhaka test will be very interesting indeed.

Stupid fecking rain.

Notes from the match:

Ramesh Powar is the leading fat, useless bastard amongst all fat useless bastards in the world. Also very ugly.

Dinesh Karthik should get a permanent spot in ODI and Test teams.

Munaf Patel = Louis Saha

Maybe if your spastic board weren't the biggest pack of cnuts in international cricket, we wouldn't have had to schedule this series in the middle of the storm season.

Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Ramesh Powar. Thought the generation of professional crickets who could get away with being that fat had died out with Inzamam.

Shahadat has the flu and Mortaza has an ankle injury.

Our reserve bowlers are club standard.

Good batting practice so far today.

What sort of fecking idiot chooses to bowl first on a flat pitch with one paceman absent and the other one struggling with injury?

Answer: This fecking idiot
