What happened? When did he get injured?
Was listening to football weekly and they said there were reports that he wasnt injured but just sent back home.

Anyone remember this?

Look where you are now, Mario.

What? Liverpool could be in league one and I would still laugh when United lost (that was the MK Dons game, yeah?).

He always puts some sort of effort against us the annoying cnut.
Apart from when we won 3-2 at their place in the last minute, he generally has been good against us. I thought he was much improved yesterday and he actually looked arsed, he's got the physical attributes to be a really difficult, powerful, quick forward yet spends most of the time moping.

He put more effort into the 45mins vs United than all his other appearances combined. Hopefully bought himself a few more starts to sleepwalk through and cost Liverpool more points

He has accepted the FA charge about his tweet, right? What is it likely going to be? Ban or just fine?

He'll never get anywhere as long as he doesn't change his stupid teenage like mentality (the whole world is against me). Half of his little brain is offline during football matches, he spends too focus on petty things.

It would've been just like him to come and a score yesterday, and to be fair to him, had it not been for the great De Gea, he would've probably had a hat trick. That said, apart from the save where De Gea pushed it on to the crossbar, his other finishing was poor.

Glad he didn't score anyway. Truly despise the guy. Most overrated player ever, ye if he doesn't make it at Liverpool, people will say it's because of his poor behaviour. No - it's because he's not good enough!

I'm sure most have seen this before, but for those who haven't, that story reminds me of this:

That's golden  Makes me laugh everytime!

Sadly it turns out not to be true, it was mentioned on the guardians football podcast and it turned about Mario wasn't never sent off(If I remember rightly they said he went off injured). Just a simply mistake by Mou, still a good story.

Never let the facts get in the way of a good story

It is true, he did get sent off actually. Mou was incorrect with the timings in which he got sent off in his story, but he did get two yellows and sent off

The Guardian are mistaken. Balotelli was sent off. However the only difference was that Mario was sent off on the hour mark.

He was heavily criticised by his teammates too.

We were able to get back on track after conceding the opener, but then with Balotelli’s dismissal we had to grit our teeth to the very end,” mused Maicon.

“I don’t know what happened, but Mario needs to understand he cannot keep making these mistakes. He still has a lot to learn and, hopefully, what happened here will help him grow.”

Captain Javier Zanetti also had words of advice for Balotelli, who has become just as famous for his disciplinary problems as his football skills.

“We got off to a bad start and had it all under control, but unfortunately in the second half Mario was sent off. We really could've done without that incident.”

Is that incident just before he gets shown the red, the reason for the red? It looks like he gets fouled

What actually made Liverpool's transfer committee think he would be good at pressing?

Remy was available.

Nah, they were worried about paying such high wages and decent fee for him cos they weren't sure how good he'd be. Laughable when you consider how many times they've played Borini this year.
