Balotelli signs for Liverpool - Official

Balotelli will make sure to keep the club in Suarez's standards in terms of cnutry.

Signing him doesn't guarantee them top 4. The signing is a risk, could understand if it was a loan. Even if he has calmed down a bit with the antics, on the pitch he can still be very lazy and frustrating.

Nothing is guaranteed, but it would certainly help them big time. He is exactly what they need. I don't believe that we will finish above Liverpool in my opinion. Their squad is better.

Most Milan fans want him out it seems.

Risky signing for Liverpool. Really talented but He is pretty static and lazy striker for their system even though he will get goals.

If he is benched he will throw a good sulk.

Steve Peters must have asked Brendan for a real challenge.

Against my better judgement I'm well for this. There's a distinct lack of pantomime villains in the absence of Suarez.

:lol::lol::lol:

Love him already.

Nicked : Assuming Balotelli joins us for the rumoured £16million, we've signed Sturridge, Coutinho, Sterling, Balotelli and Lambert for one Mezut Ozil.

Ricky Lambert in there really tips it in your favour.

Pissed off by this. Not even because of his attitude, just because he's lazy, he's inconsistent, he doesn't press well, he's greedy. Massive risk, can't see it ending up well.

Balotelli was never a cnut. Not in the same way as Suarez is seen as one anyway.

He's a good bargain at that price. Milan however, such a sad state of a great great club.

Do you not remember his red cards? Also do you not remember the ones he got away with?

He seems like a nice enough fellow off the pitch and he's not a cynical, dirty and malicious footballer when he's on the pitch. So don't really get the Suarez comparisons.

What he is, though, is an incredibly lazy, sullen and petulant presence whenever things are going against him. The WC was Balotelli in a nutshell. Unplayable at times, only to put in one of the most shockingly inept and self-indulgent performances of any player in the tournament when his country needed him most. Would love to see him put in those sort of shifts in a Liverpool shirt. This screams of Rogers over-inflated ego getting the better of him. Jose Mourinho can't sort out this character but I can get him back on the straight and narrow through a combination of self-improvement jargon and envelopes with his name in them.

We paid more than Rojo (with Nani wages) then they did for Balotelli, £17.5m seems a bargain, almost too good to be true.

It's a sad state of affairs for Milan at the minute, I guarantee they will replace Balotelli with some nobody Serie A striker like Pandev or maybe get Eto'o on a free.

Balotelli is a mercurial talent, potentially world class. The problem with him as always been his head. It's highly unlikely he will ever reach his full potential but you never know.

Will solve depth up front for us I suppose. Until he shows he is not lazy for us I will see him as an luxury, albeit expensive, backup to Sturridge.

Don't care about the craziness if he puts in the effort.

not a cnut, but a complete bellend. He hurts your own team more than the opposition. The fee is relatively low so its not a big risk for Liverpool, but I dont expect, that he does anything useful.

He wouldn't go there to be backup. Rodgers will be trying to fit both in.

Never rated him, He hasnt got the attitude to ever become even close to top tier striker. His work rate is pointless and will let them down. I wouldn't start him over Lambert.

Apparently his brother had a night in Robbos in Fallowfield a few years back. The night was called 'Why always me'. Wonder if his DJ brother will come back with him.

He's got two other players he paid more this summer for he'll try to fit in the final third as well.

I reckon he'll come in as a squaddie with promises that he has every chance of nailing down a first team spot if he can deliver what Rodgers wants from him.

Mou clearly bulshitting. Balotelli never got red card against Rubin Kazan in 46 minute. That was 20 and 60th minute. Not 42 and 46.

It's probably just his memory was a little hazy of that game, he would be bullshitting if Mario didn't get sent off but he did, just a bit later than Mourinho said he did.

Balotelli is bound to be on huge wages. He is probably Liverpool best paid player now. :)

He ain't going to be sitting on the bench.

I suppose it will be interesting to see how he will do in a free flowing pacey attacking side. He's been in better sides, but maybe not one where he'll get to express himself as much as I expect he'll do here.
