Bad Berba's Back

Needs one more goal to equal his total in the league from last season, in November!

I hope all of Berba luck didnt all come in one match - he was fortuitous on 2 occasions for the ball to fall for him in the build up but he finished his chances with ******.

I'm not panicking just yet, I think he's been great this season (apart from one bad performance against Spurs).

Even when not scoring, he's still been very good in most matches. I've no concerns at all that he will get his biggest goal tally since he's joined us. He'll probably be in double figures before the end of the year, he only needs 3 more goals to get into doubles.

See :smirk:

wonderful day for him. some good goals scored and the back heel pass to start the counter for his third goal was very sexy. bad berba took the day off thank goodness.

Was it any more obvious today that Berbatov will play well with Rooney next to him ? I mentioned it through the week and you could see it clicking in the second half against Rangers.

I didn't think it would happen this quick but if these two are gonna click like that then a lot of teams are in for some hidings from now on.

No humble pie for me, if I was to have any it would have been after our 3-0 loss at OT. I still think he's crap.

You really wouldn't take him at Liverpool?

Makes a change from the highly hilarious and original 'Berbaflop' i suppose....

Granted scoring a hatrick against a pile of piss like Liverpool is rather standard for anyone decent these days.

Its just sad and mind numbingly hilarious, this pre-conceived and misinformed agends against berba. Kind of like watching Heskey do his stepovers.

Im not surprised at rival fans especially scousers, they'd made up their minds on him ages ago and are so determined for him to flop he'll never play well in their eyes hence no matter what he does now hes just rubbish in their book, sad yes typical scouse yes but true nonetheless.

They are a bitter bunch bless em, best to try and humour the afflicted as much as humanly possible.

True and thats expected. Given they are rival fans, They want him to fail so that they can piss themselves laughing over it much as we would like to do with their players.

Its especially sad when its our own lot who cant look through their own pre-conceived agendas. But then again, I dont think that lot will ever be satisfied anyway.
