Ayden Heaven | 2024/25 Performances

Glad to see his was aerially dominant, a lot of youngsters despite their stature and build are very weak in the air, Yoro for example so far but Heaven was going for every ball and winning them. Promising debut, would like to see more of him from now till the end of the season.

I was impressed. Definitely looks first team ready as was stated

I liked him and the fact he’s left footed makes a big difference. Id be tempted to give him a shot at LCB.

Impressive debut. Definitely looks like someone we could ruin (hopefully kidding).
Three games and he will play the united way...

Kidding too, but yeah hopefully it doesn't follow what we've seen with other players
Interested to see how he does in league games

Looks decent and has a name like an adult star, what can go wrong.

He covers ground really quickly and can carry the ball out easily. Decent ability on the ball.

Didn't look phased at all. Probably helps when you are one of the biggest players on the pitch.

Physically the likes of Yoro, Heaven and Dorgu are what we need.

6 passes and 11 touches all together, 3 clearances, 2 aerials in 30 mins

Not much to do apart from deal with the ball in the air a couple of times and he did that

Potentially very good business from the club. Give him a good amount of minutes in the league and we could save ourselves needing a Martinez back-up come the summer.

Was surprised how good he looked. Could be a bargain for 1.5m.

The nerve of this kid, coming here and looking like a footballer. We'll soon knock that out of you.

Play him and Chido Obi till the end of the season in preparation for bigger roles next season. The season is over.

I wasn't expecting all that much (based purely on a few comments from others), but have to say he looked quite good. I don't think he had to do anything significant, but he did quite a few small things very well and by doing so stopped them becoming a more dangerous situation. Which is really what you want your defenders doing. Basically the opposite of Lindelof.

Definitely interested to see him more of him and find out if he's someone we can rely on or if this was better than his normal level.

I liked the look of him. Positionally looked very good, and sensed danger really well, looks strong and quick too. Should get more minutes.

I would give him Lindelöf’s minutes for rest of the season. Covering the lead last 10-15minutes (if we somehow manage to get lead)

Definitely already better than Lindelöf. Should be higher up the pecking order than Lindelöf and get all the minutes we would otherwise have given to Lindelöf and Evans (when he is fit again)

It's ridiculous to give minutes to Lindelof when he's leaving at the end of the season anyway. The rest of the season should be about bedding young players in (for the league matches) and seeing who can make the cut to either be first XI or squad for next season, which would give us a far better idea of how to best spend our limited resources this summer.

Was surprised, think he did well. The youtube videos didn't impress me at all, and I'm quite easily impressed. Hope to see more of him.

One phase of play bothered me, when Sessegnon was running at Dalot and cut inside to shoot, Heaven should have been reading that and getting across to support Dalot on the inside but he didn’t do it until too late - we were lucky the shot was straight at Onana. He’s a young kid though, looks like he has some potential.

He'll be taller than Rio in next 2 years, I reckon. No wonder he wasn't fazed by a PL team.

Another physical presence for the future.
He's surely taller now, no? Rio is 6'2. Dorgu is 6'1 and Heaven is almost a head taller than him. No way he's still the height he's reported.

Impressed with him from the cameo. Coming on at that stage was a recipe for disaster but he handled it extremely well.

There will be ups and downs, but a very good start.

Fair enough. He will play more, and will make mistakes. I think from the sample we have, we can deduce he looks promising.

Play him in some or all of the remaining league matches? There is little to no pressure in them now and getting a two month Premier League practice session might stand him in good stead.

Better than giving minutes to fecking Lindelof anyway.

Add him to the list of potential at United...the list is getting quite long actually.

Really need to find this team's Cantona/Zlatan in the summer to gel them all together.

You got all that from the limited gametime he had? I hope you are right but i doubt it will come true.
Hojlund destroyed him in a preseason friendly
However did look good with very little to do against Fulham. I also echo the sentiment that he should start ahead of Lindelof, as we will never know if he’s got enough in his game if he’s sitting behind players who the club no longer wants.

Didn't do anything wrong, his passing range is quite a bit better than that but he understandably was a little nervous. He has filled out quite a lot since I last saw him play, looks completely ready for senior football.

They are both a year older, Hojlund seems to have stood still or gone backwards and Heaven could have improved

Looking forward to seeing how Heaven, Leon, Kone, and Obi turn out in a couple of years and looking back on our business this last 12 months with Yoro, Dorgu etc too and the deadwood on big wages shifted. I'm a lot more optimistic than some who think it's all doom and gloom at the club.
