It reduces the challenge. For example now if you don't get a winger in this round you know you won't be able to have a wide formation, so that forces you to make a choice. That round would defeat the purpose to an extent.

This. That is the entire point about it, if you make poor purchases you shouldn't be saved by a last round.

Some players who are flexible will be more sought after than an equally good player who can just play one role. Like it should be really.

Looks good so far, can't help but feel a few randomers feckign it up can, well, really feck it up for others. Good!

Always a chance as we've seen with other drafts too where managers go inactive without a word and such. I think this draft period should hopefully be more of a constant excitement rather than the snake-draft where you can wait for ages before your turn of excitement comes around.
