Athletics 2017

Gatlin crashes the party. Was that bronze or silver?

Shit! To look n the positive side of it, Bolt will eventually end up with the gold after Gatlin is found guilty of doping again

It's a shame but nothing touches his legacy.

Could of got the villain at 25-33/1......thought they were ridiculous odds too. Oh well.

Victoroids.

So pleased it was Gatlin. It's time for people to wake up. A guy who has been busted before just won the world championship. Meaning either drugs don't work or it's very, very hard to get caught.

I like the fact that you already know that the dude who won silver is doping too. Has any American 100m sprinter not been found out for it? ;)

They work but not as much as people think, you can drug a donkey all you want, it won't make it a thoroughbred.

Kind of pleased for Gatlin. Would've been my choice after Bolt.

Is Bolt taking part in 4X100m ?

The stadium would've been buzzing right now.

What's happened to Blake too? He was a legit challenger to peak bolt in 2012.

Bolt is going out at almost the right time. He's just about past his best. I think trying to win this race was worth the risk. It was always going to be downhill after Beijing.

I've moved on to van Niekerk as my new athletics hero anyway.

Bolt was clearly ahead of Coleman on the replay, did he get unlucky on the stretch?

Actually I thought Bolt pipped the Coleman dude to Silver but yeah, nearly every sprinter who's run below 10 seconds has been caught of doping.

Gutted for Bolt, if ever an athlete deserved to finish on a victory it was the greatest of them all.

Bolt probably got that bronze with what I would wildly assume was the most casual of training camps too with the two ahead probably training to obscene levels to just about beat him. Well past his peak but still could of got gold if he really cared about it(see last year....), but what an athlete, what a character, absolutely transcendent.

London was more impressive than Beijing. The pressure he was under and the field he was up against, made it more impressive for me at least. And he beat his times in Beijing.

You're the most contrary person I've ever seen.

I don't particularly care who wins, I do like Bolt, but it just clicked today. Booing for two days now, and there he comes, at 35 years of age, and shuts them up. Just an interesting story.

I also had 1.90 odds on him beating Blake in duel, so, there's that too.
