All over. Congratulations to Australia. Deserved winners.

Credit to Clarke & Lehmann. They've done a great job getting this team playing the way they have given the turmoil they were in earlier this year. Johnson's been the key, but it's been a great team effort. Wonder if they can get the whitewash?

Nope. England have shown enough in the last inning to prove they have some fight left. Aussies might ease off a bit giving us a few more even test matches in the last two. The English have been abysmal to the core.

Don't think so. Plenty of time before the next test. Australia will be well rested and can take it one test at a time without any pressure.

5th test at SCG, though. Swann + Panesar might swing it England's way there.

So with the asha's now decided and the final two games dead rubbers. Do we think they will be closer. Australia taking their foot off a bit and England playing without pressure now as they have already lost

As an Indian fan, chasing 500 at 200/4 with a good partnership going is about the time I start thinking "hang on, we've got a chance here.."

feck you.

(Not really, VVS was my favourite batsman outside of Mark Waugh)

I can't stop looking at that gif. Absolute dream ball. Swings in to Cook off the air and swings away after pitching.

I am surprised no one's said anything about those huge cracks. Very dangerous imo.

Time to get rid of the old guard now and Pietersen should never play for England again, the most selfish batsman I can remember.
Congratulations to Australia but in all fairness they didn't beat much.

Oh and the clip of that ball, that is ridiculous. How do you defend that!?

When I was watching, anything that the cracks deviated so much that it missed the batsman and for right handers, it was extras..

Aussie skulduggery...

Losing is fine, but the manner in which we have been comprehensively smashed is borderline unacceptable.

Seems like a variety of factors, and credit to Australia for the way they've played since pretty much going 2-0 down in England, they ended that series well and carried it through,

It's an amazing ball, probably the best I've seen to be honest.

As an Australian I can honestly say I thought we would get thrashed this series.

Popping in this thread only to immediately leave. Horror show.

Agreed.

Thought you lot would win it closely 2-1. Signs were there in England, but did not expect such a massive thrashing.

To be honest I'm a bit pissed Off the boxing day test is going to be a dead rubber now. Just another reason to hate the English.
There are probably some poor bastards booked up to go out to Oz for 4th and 5th tests.

why are the Aussie test players playing in the Big Bash in the middle of the Ashes?

I'd be livid if I was an Australian.

Warner, Smith in this match. :wenger:
