I enjoyed this series but one thing that bugged me was that the weird clowns, doctors on the phone and images of her daughter etc were hardly featured at all. Until near the end it seemed far more straightforward (and less interesting) than all other series. I guess that makes sense now because I'm assuming that when Alex "lived" after being shot at the end of series 2 this signified that she died in a coma in real life so that the intrusions filtering through from real life stopped.
