ashes 2 ashes series 3 CONTAINS SPOILERS - Don't open if you haven't seen the finale

I enjoyed this series but one thing that bugged me was that the weird clowns, doctors on the phone and images of her daughter etc were hardly featured at all. Until near the end it seemed far more straightforward (and less interesting) than all other series. I guess that makes sense now because I'm assuming that when Alex "lived" after being shot at the end of series 2 this signified that she died in a coma in real life so that the intrusions filtering through from real life stopped.
 
I have put a spoiler warning in the title of this thread now that the series has finished but can we not put any spoilers for any other series please. I have deleted a couple that discuss the ending of Lost already.
 
I noticed something that appears to lend weight to the whole heaven and hell theory, when the elevator got there with Keats trying to get them to go in it was written (clearlyish) that the floor was the basement, yet sound wise it said that the lift would be "going down".

Yes.

Was a great series. In fact as good as anything I've seen recently. I think Alex died hence her(and not Gene's) fantasy ended, although the last series could've spanned a matter of seconds in real life time. I guess it finished open ended and a few different interpretations can be made, but if it were an American series the heaven/hell/devil/souls would've been the intended ending but I don't think it's the case with Ashes to Ashes. But as I said earlier, she must've been pronounced dead at 9:08 and carried on in the fantasy till her brain completely stop functioning.

Pisses over a lot series that are creamed over on this forum. No names will be mentioned. . .
