cant believe ashes to ashes, lost and 24 are all ending within 4 days of each other... there will be no decent telly left!
I saw Ray on the tube yesterday. Just thought I'd throw that in there...he got on the Victoria Line at Green Park.
I rule!!
I try not to talk to people on the tube....at any time, under any circumstances, ever.
It looks more like Simm may return after tonights episode, should be a brilliant ending after this episode.
final ep tonight...
im looking forward t0 this more than the last ep of lost...
i just hope that they are not on a space ship going to mars on a gene hunt...
please please dont let that happen
Well I'm still as confused as I ever was![]()
What was the whole going in to the pub supposed to symbolise? Heaven?
I wanted to see Sam in the pub![]()
I wanted to see Sam in the pub
Was Gene Hunt "God" and Jim Keats the "Devil" ?
Charon as in the ferryman?
here you go - good article!
Ashes to Ashes ends and everything becomes less clear | Television & radio | The Guardian
Great Minds![]()
Yeah!
It makes more sense now after reading that!
I still wish we'd seen Sam Tyler in the pub though![]()
Yeah I really would have liked to see Sam one last time
This is really interesting...The significance of the final shot of Ashes To Ashes - Den of Geek
Yer i can see thier point though, but it really would have added something to the end of he just cropped up like that
I really liked it, Gene gets killed young and his spirit is so strong he refuses to go away so he creates this world where dead cops come and work under him to feed his ego and keep him going.
Keats, my theory, is the anti-Gene. Sort of like the devil if you will, Gene will try and get them to stay good cops and do their job and go to the pub afterwards, whereas Keats tries to make them turn dodgy with tempting offers.
The pub being a heaven and the lift down with Keats a kind of hell. I really liked it, made you think but at the same time told you the majority of what was going on.
Also liked how Shaz was from the mid 90's.
EDIT: Just read that article from the guardian that says the same as me! Well that was a wasted post hehe.
I wanted to see Sam in the pub
Was Gene Hunt "God" and Jim Keats the "Devil" ?
I thought it was very good actually.....And Keats was brilliant...Clearly the hissing was meant to imply he was the Devil...of sorts
I actually really liked it...Wasn't as confusing as everyone seems to be making it out to be
Also the fact it was made, acted, shot and written very well made it the easier to swallow...Which shows you can pass of the most ridiculous premises if you do it well...something the Lost writers failed spectacularly to do with 6X15
Incidentally I loved that the last line was Gene's first line in Life on Mars...nice touch.
