We never actually had a human on the other end of the phone say these words though did we? From what i gathered we just never answered the phone and outlets took that meaningful silence.
No question the knee is what has dragged this transfer out for so long. We all have given the club stick over transfers this summer, but it's good to know the club are not going to throw money away, especially on potential crocked players. Many got to factor in vidals age at 27, if he is reportedly got knee problems, it is not going to get better in a few years time, especially if he picks up these injuries has he gets older. And 47 million is allot of cash to gamble on

This is one weird saga, all signs are pointing towards Vidal staying at Juventus and it has been that way for quite a while yet it still seems alive and doing well. I guess the lack of transfer activity for the past 6-7 weeks is doing this.
If we do manage to sign Vidal then someone should contact this guy's local authorities. He'd be suicidal.
He maybe one of the best players in the world on what he does, but he will be useless for united if he is not available through injury all the time. How many said about Owen Hargreaves, he would be brilliant for united if he was fit. We do not want ifs, for 47 million I think we all want guarantees there is no doubts about his long term fitness, Especially for that price

All signs point to it being done in principle a while ago, its his knee that is the hold up IMO.
