He could have further damaged his knee by playing on it when he shouldn't have been tbh. Doesn't matter if he performed well or not, if hes damaged it further then it could be a problem long term. He'll probably be fine, but you would want to make sure if you could.

Couldn't we buy some sort of insurance to cover ourselves against that risk?

Listen if the club is available to say they are "unavailable to comment" it means shit is going down.

I think there was something that came out recently about us not having insurance for players to cover injuries.... I'm guessing its true that the injury is what has slowed down this transfer.

Unavailable for comment isn't the same as refusing to comment though, is it?

If the knee is the problem, its a owen hargreaves concern, and this is not 16 million, but treble that. So if his knee problem is a concern, then it is a worry for us they could spend a huge chunk on a possible injured player

As soon as I saw on the BBC website about an Italian newspaper suggesting he's signed a contract with us I knew this thread would go mad.

We "refused to comment" when asked about LVG being appointed our new manager. If the same is being said here then
Refused to comment as opposed to unavailable for comment.

Maybe the concerned person is not available to comment on a transfers.

I want it to happen, so that I can finally watch some YT clips of him midfielding and stuff...
That's my way of not getting too exited before an announcment.

I understand all the non-reliable newspapers & tabloids have reported the Vidal to United story, or are any still left?

PS: All the reliable one's have either stayed clear or denied any United interest.

We already broke that record when we signed Mata.
I thought berbs was on the perch that Vidal would be stood upon now you're saying it's mata, we're only talking transfer forum threads, united forum or newbies don't count

So we still haven't signed him yet?!

481 pages and still nothing.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure there's a clause in Vidal's contract that states we can sign him on a free if this thread reaches 500 pages.

@Dante: No, not enough training.

ArturOff he's retired from footy, lads its dead in the sea this one
