Arturo Vidal

There's a piece of news about him from today in La Stampa. They claim that an agreement has been reached with his agent and he'll earn 12 mil. Euro/year here.

Rest is behind fecking paywall and I can't speak Italian for shit.

Enough with this Vidal la, I'm interested in how Lost is such bad series? I always though it was amusing at worst. However, I was 13 back then ( or something like that) so you're probably right.

Horncastle also says that the Stampa article says that Vidal is torn and doesn't know if he wants to leave Juve.

Never figured out how to embed tweets, so wont, but you can follow the link above.

Why can't we agree a fee subject to medical? Not sure why we can't agree a fee tbh.

Also take into consideration that La Stampa are owned by Agnelli and they'll put their bias into any thing they report regarding Vidal.

 we're not paying Shaw that much you eejit

 Shaw's wages seem to rise every week. First was 100k, now 160k. The player himself said he isn't being paid more than Lahm

With regards to La Stampa, Tuttosport etc - they are always going to put pro Juve spin on it. i.e. the whole "torn over leaving" stuff. Reality is it is a money move for him. The love of juve doesn't come into it.

Think this is straight up?

I guess if he arrives in Manchester in the next couple of days, we will know either way.
It's a Daily Star exclusive so I'm choosing not to take anything from it. As you say though, if he does show up in the next couple of days, I guess they were right.....for once!

Loada rubbish. Would have been reported more widespread than just in the Daily Star. Vidal's with the Juve squad and was supposed to play in a few days I think, so won't be long before they're proven wrong.

And more to the point, since when can clubs not agree a fee subject to medical?

Well, it's unusual. By that logic we could steal any player just to do a medical without any real interest in the player or agreement with the club. Don't see why the fee has to be agreed though, you're right there. Guess the club has to agree to the medial.

I'd assume because, subject to the results of the medical, we may choose to structure the fees/schedules different.
Should Juve not allow him to take a medical with us before a official bid is made it would look like something isn't right with Vidal though.

We'd still be paying the 47m though? If anything should show on the medical results I'd assume we wouldn't go near? Maybe we are still willing to take him if something shows up and use it as a bartering tool? I just can't see us going near unless we are confident from test results that he's ok.

Maybe he read the whole article compared to the rest of us who're restricted by the pay wall?

Didn't SW put out the full story? They said they got hands on the paper in the morning.

Is he reliable? He has tons of followers and on top of that many journos are following him on twitter.

Jan himself is a dipshit imo but as Adnan says, he probably read La Stampa story. I wanted to check what's their source ( if it's not rehashed stuff or bullshit from British papers ) but the whole text is behind paywall. Best solution would be if we found somebody who can get behind the paywall of La Stampa and check if Vidal really is their source or this cnut's taking the piss.

La Stampa's source is Vidal? So it meant that Vidal actually gave an interview to that paper? If it so, it would have been all over the Italian papers

all these bleedin' rumours are going to make me nervous as a cow in a slaughterhouse every time he gets tackled now, if he signs, obviously.
