I see myself as the real top poster in this thread. Adnan just posts links. Like a rogue Damien style spambot.

Probably shouldn't give him the attention, even when we slate someone (IndyKaila for example) idiots who read this forum still follow them.

Van Gaal gives "green light" to the signing of Vidal and Manchester United launches new offer

Evra to Juve confirmed :(.
Woodie leaving the US tour party ;).
Seems a bit to convenient to just be a coincidence :D.

How we got there: Top 10 Post Types That Got Us to 10,000.

1) Pessimists: "He wont come here, he will go to Madrid."
2) Optimists: "Vidal is coming, its a done deal."
3) Thread commentators: "This thread is very silly."
4) Information hub: "Look at what I just saw in a newspaper or on Twitter. This will make everything much clearer."
5) Kiljoys: "How could this thread get so long without any actual information? Im far too sensible to post in here until I see something from Ogden - unless its to come in here and wag my finger at others."
6) Postcount checks: "Wow, we are very nearly at a big round number of posts / pages! Extraordinary."
7) Relevance Nazis: "GGGrrrr, things have gone off topic, I shall close the thread for a while or just be generally threatening so everyone respects my authorita."
8) Bargaining with God: "If he comes, I will do x, y or z, as an offering to fate."
9) Old gits: "In my day transfer muppet threads were much better than this [insert reference to Sneijder, Ronaldo, Thiago etc here]"
10) Thrill seekers: "Im bored, let's generate some momentum in here despite nothing actually happening, just for our own amusement."

I'm guilty of a few killjoy posts but I'm edging closer and closer to the Bargaining with God phase...

Don't even want a new shirt, but I'll buy a Vidal one when he's ours.
I dont want a new shirt either, and even if I did I have never had a name and number on the back of one (since my Jesper Olsen shirt when I was about 7). But usually that's the point of promises to the gods, isnt it? You promise to do something you wouldnt otherwise do.

So Woody is embarking on another adventure for a few weeks while we in impatiently wait for inevitably nothing to happen?

The last United Shirt I bought was the Blue and Black away from a few years ago, and the last one I got a Name/Number on was Cantona on the black 1994 away shirt.

If we get Vidal I'll 100% buy the new home shirt with Vidal on the back though. Might even go 'full kit wanker', haven't decided yet.

See Woody? That's what it means to the fans! (I'm taking his insinuation that he listens to the fans on Social media to say that he is a fully paid up muppet on the 'Caf!)

Indeed. I pledged to buy a United shirt with Vidal on the back if we signed him a week or two back, but people didnt seem to think it would help.

Which I thought was completely narrow minded, to be honest.

I'm leaving the ultimate bargaining chip till the last few days of the transfer window. Surely if I promise the Gods that I'll get a Vidal haircut, he'll be at Carrington in no time.

I toyed with the idea of a hunger strike until we sign him - or a credible alternative. It would be a classic 2 birds with one stone. Actually, lots of birds.

1) Put pressure on the club to act
2) help lose weight
3) Save money
4) Maybe get my picture in the local paper, where everyone will think Im super awesome and really clever
5) Teach my children the importance of making a stand when it comes to the really important issues of the day

I heard Woodwards getting matching tattoos with Vidal as part of the deal.

Something tells me I am going to read in the MEN of a devoted fan dying of starvation in September.

My source has let me know that Vidal made himself a new tattoo, little United logo on the left side of the neck. It's definitely ON!
I've believed you too many times doctor Zeus, I'm beginning to think you're not telling the truth

Raf Honigstein on ESPN FC says he can see Vidal leaving juve, didn't specify where to though.
