Sold: Gibson, PIG
Retired: Neville, VDS, Hargreaves
Sign: Adler, a young midfielder

Neville has already been replaced. Gibson is not much of a loss. Only VDS will require a major transfer. Giggs and Scholes will play one more year.

If United listened to the papers and the fans and unsettled their squad by a clear out when the team is currently unbeaten after Christmas, then they'd be a bunch of fools in my opinion. Small changes and loyalty to the players you have got goes a long way in this world.

At first it seems like a major WUM, but on the second thought..

But next year it won't be that far off from 10, although it's not about culling or clean up, or anything malicious

VDS - Retire (rightly so, earned it)
PIG - Wants first team football (Lingard is coming anyway)
Gary Neville - Retire (part time coach maybe?)
Scholes - Might / might not retire
Giggs - Might / Might not retire
Diouf - Probably sold
Owen - Out of Contract
Hargreaves - Injured, even if he's fit i doubt he'll be fit most of the times

That's 8 already, some players go on loan, etc. 10 is not that far fetched
 
I don't know if Scholes is retiring. Giggs will probably sign for one more year. Neville and van der sar will retire. I think the group of United players who have been around for a while but never cemented a starting spot like Brown, Kuszczak and O'Shea might be gone. Gibson is out of contract, probably needs good form to earn a new deal. Owen and Owen will probably leave on free transfers. Maybe a new no.7 will be bought :drool:

Sounds about right.

I don't think Bebe will be loaned out though. He's still playing catch up on his coaching and we'll want to have our coaches working with him as much as possible for another season at least.
