Hacks. New season is showing at the moment in the states. One of the funniest shows currently airing.

Friday Night Lights!

Not fussed about NFL either, sorry!

Five Days at Memorial.
Patriot

No idea what any of these are about so will give a google, ta!

Nah it's more than that. It's about a college. football team but that's just the backdrop. The show is actually about a group of wannabe footballers but moreso about the town and its obsession with college football. It's far better than I described it an genuinely a good show with some really good performances.

Solius doesn't care, he just sees the word in it and dismisses it. I learnt that the hard way.

5 Days at Memorial really isn't a medical drama. Its about New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina. Dopesick is depressing as feck so I'll let that go but its not a medical drama either. Crowded Room with Tom Holland was very good.

Kind of wholesome too. Easy to enjoy.

Just discovered Slow Horses, seems to have come out a couple of years ago but never heard of it until now (Apple if you pay for stuff).

British spy series, based on books of same name (which I’d also never heard of), quite light.

Very well written and Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb is one of the best characters I’ve seen in a while… rude, sarcastic, slovenly, but maybe not as he first comes across.

Only 6 episodes in first series, onto series 2 now.

8/10.

You’ll be pleased to know I didn’t watch any of those suggestions yet but have started watching Invincible. Superhero cartoon but it’s good. I’d say give the whole first episode a shot first before deciding on it. Lots of big names in this as well. Was surprised how many.

Actually, it's about an actual high school team called Odessa Permian & how important football is to that area of Texas. The book 'Friday Night Lights' by Buzz Bissinger is a must read if you enjoyed either the FNL movie or series.

Oh yeah that's an incredible show. Loved the first season, need to watch the rest.

Season 3 of Mayor of Kingstown is back next week! The Bear also resumes end of June.

I almost finished the first season of a show called The Wire, it's alright so far. I think it might be right up your alley @Dirty Schwein
You arsehole

I personally didn't love season 2 but 3 and 4 were next level amazing!

I'm watching the series again and about to start season 2 so hopefully I'll get more out of it this time round.

So you're saying it's unwatchable after the first season and I should drop it. Gotcha, will do!

Season 2 is great on rewatch(es), when you are not surprised by the change of themes and new characters. Season 5 twice was more than enough, not bothering with it again.

Just watched all the episodes of “Tires” on Netflix . Definitely not politically correct but funny as feck. Shane Gillis wrote and stars in it.

 yes on both of those.

I’m 5 episodes in, it’s very good, the girl from Parasite is very unconvincing as Death, though, but the other actors are all great.
I practically gave up on the show because she was so bad.

binned off Bodkin on episode 2 or 3, shite

what was that wolf thing all about anyway? All felt very contrived
Yeah someone recommended this to me but it was really dumb.

You arsehole

Season 2 is great but the jump from the streets to the harbour universe is way too big I think. You've just gotten into the show and then boom you almost start a.new series and miss the great characters from season 1.

Anyone who is into Sci-Fi (or great animation in general) should check out Scavengers Reign. I'm only 2 episodes in but I'm so thankful this show exists. Just amazed by how creative the Alien planet is.
