Yes, it's silly, (very) stupid and annoying.
But hey, it's not boring at least. There will be second season as well, so, won't be left on cliffhanger.

Tried it recently but I find the characters to be intensely annoying, especially Lame Cole.
Quite like Passengers on Netflix, season 2 has just been released, very similar to 12 Monkeys the TV series, might be somewhat off putting if you have already watched that. Glitch, an Aussie spin on The Returned shows some promise as well.

Entirely different, rather derivative but compared to some of the other dross Netflix pumps out/streams in that genre-Continuum/Ascension etc it is at least watchable. Not the greatest recommendation but as a Sci Fi fan quality stuff is hard to find. Have great hopes for their adaptation of Altered Carbon though.

French cop drama Spiral starts its sixth season tomorrow on BBC Four. Lots of similarities to the Wire.
I just noticed that "Romper Stomper" has been made into a mini series, I loved the movie so I might give it a try.

The six-part series follows a new generation of far-right activists and their anti-fascist counterparts, with the story focussing on a fictional far-right group led by Blake Farrand known as Patriot Blue."

It is fecking great, I couldn't stop until I had binged all the 6 episodes in one go. Highly recommended, the guy in the lead role is amazing, fecking chilling character.
I couldn't recommend mindhunter enough really good show and the way they building it for what I expect to happen in season 2, is interesting and quite different to most cop based shows out there at the moment.
not seen all of them but, Mindhunter, GoT, legion and stranger things I would recommend to anyone.

Manhunt: Unabomber
Movie is the one where Russel Crowe got his breakthrough. It is a very good movie, but I preferred the series.
Guy playing the lead in the series are going places, guaranteed.

It was quite good! I could never warm to the main character as I found the actor a bit bland, but the guy playing Kaczynski was brilliant.
I cant quite make my mind up about Mindhunter, having watched about 5 episodes. It's good, but not quite anything special so far. But maybe it's going to go up a gear.

I’ve missed out on current television. Is there an absolute classic e.g Mad Men, Sopranos, The Wire currently on air that I am missing? Not just stranger things “that’s a fun show” good, but forever going down as one of the best runs ever good.

Not sure if you've seen these but I'll just name a few shows I consider to be classics. GoT, True Detective S1, The Night Of and Breaking Bad.
Rectify is one of the best TV shows ever and not an "obvious" one that most have seen.
