Being pernickety, I've sometimes thought he was a little limited for a United player, but particularly against weaker teams, he can be devastating. Give him space, and a full back who can't match him for pace, and it's the bombing of Dresden.

I think hes the best winger in the league at present.

Really unlucky not to get the MOTM award too, thought he was the best player on the park. His delivery is fantastic

He is.

BTW are there any English interviews from him? I can't find a single one.

He genuinely looks uncomfortable kicking with his left foot but what am i to complain, with one leg , he destroyed Wolves pretty much.

I thought he would be a little rusty after being injured for a bit, but the man is a machine. Right back into form, if he keeps this up he will be up there with the best wingers in the world IMO, if he isn't already. On this form, there isn't a single fullback that could get the better of him. I genuinely believe that if he knew how to use his left foot effectively, then he could have been one of the best players in the world, but he is still a fantastic player who almost always puts in really good performances.

It's really scary for fullbacks, because when he's on form there really is no way to stop him. He has so much of pace, strength and end product that it's scary. With other good wingers, you could always foul them, but with Valencia even fouling him is difficult because of his strength.

His final ball was a let down when he first signed for United but now he seems to get better with every game.

Unbelievable to think that less than two years ago he had a horrible double break of his ankle. If you said that to someone who didn't really know about him they wouldn't believe you. Mind boggling athletic ability.

Sir Alex Ferguson is hoping Antonio Valencia stays fit for the rest of the season as he believes the winger has an important role to play in Manchester United's title bid.

Valencia has recently been sidelined by a hamstring injury and made his first appearance in just over a month in Sunday's 5-0 thrashing of Wolves.

He scored one goal at Molineux and created two more as the 26-year-old helped United to open up a four-point lead over rivals Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

The Ecuador international returned from a long-term injury in the final two months of last season to play a crucial part in the Red Devils winning a record-breaking 19th title.
Outstanding

Ferguson is now hoping that the former Wigan wide-man can have a similar impact after praising Valencia's array of talents.

"He could be very important," said the United manager.

"His form before he got the injury was outstanding.

"Now he is back we hope he stays back fit. He is such an honest, hardworking player.

"You get two sides to Antonio. He is prepared to work really hard. He can tackle, he can run, but he can also beat a man.

"He has got everything really."

He's fantastic. It makes me even more frustrated with a waster like Anderson when you see such a seriously impressive professional like Valencia.

You really should talk about Anderson more. You haven't brought that topic up in ages.

Noticed he has been working on using the outside of his right boot to flick curl the ball which gives him a kind of extra option for delivering crosses once he's cut in side or playing passes that should really be played with the left foot. He's one and a half footed now.

Still remember picking him out as the player to watch for from the '06 World Cup.

funny thing is; he often looks hesitant and people have been saying he is one-dimensional or predictable but opponents still struggle to stop him. Diamond of a player.

The guy is an absolute monster. I have a feeling he'll keep getting better as well and add more goals to his game. He definitely has the ability to do that.

He's really made a proper step up in ability. I genuinely see him as one of our best players now. Top 5.

The original Ronaldo always used to go left with a step over. No one ever stopped him either.

The more I see him the more he reminds me of Kanchelskis - perhaps Valencia has even something more in his game, the ability to play at right back and in midfield.

Great to see him back, I would reckon the opposition yesterday was probably one he would have picked as best for a comeback game

Very conservative in your predictions, Sol. I reckon we'll win it.

When he's in top form, even if you know exactly what he is going to do, he still goes past you.

That's pretty amazing, really.

He'll continue to do it all match too.

Kanchelskis was more of a goal threat, something Tony is working on and was more unpredictable. Kanchelskis is one of my all time United favourites. Loved his style.

I think that was only because kanchelskis was alot more selfish.

He would shoot whenever he had the chance, not that it is bad but that was how he played.

Valencia on the other hand would rather pass than shoot - even on his goal he was looking for the pass right til the last minute, then decided to smash it bottom corner.

I do wish he would shoot more often though.

Hes got such a great strike on him and no doubt he could score alot more if he tried, but hes clearly happy with just assisting unless there is no other option

I just mean if you were offered right now, straight swap, would you take it?
