None of the options within the league excite me that much. Maatsen could've been a shrewd signing this summer, but I guess the time wasn't right as Ineos decided to delay the left-back situation by a year with signing Mazraoui instead. So Maatsen isn't attainable now.

But to be fair to you, I'd still look at someone like Reguilón for free rather than 30m+ on Robinson. I forgot about him tbh after wanting him in the summer, before it became known that Mazraoui is a serious target for us. He didn't get his move from Spurs this summer and he's clearly not in their plans, with his contract running out as well. I would like us to tap into the free agent market every once in a while, because you can find great deals like Eriksen was, even if you are one of the biggest clubs around. I think Reguilón would be another good opportunity.

Outside of the PL, though, I think Patrick Dorgu from Lecce would be an excellent signing as I predict that he will become a top player. Could play LCB as well IMO. Jorrel Hato is another option who's good enough to be part of the Ineos project.
