On a 2 year contract, why not? He is still world class and even if he started regressing in a year from now, he would still be better than our attackers and his agility, intelligence and technique is something none of our attackers have.

I've seen it reported elsewhere that it is a release clause of around £12m. £26-30m wage over two seasons, various bonuses, loyalty and agent fees. So £50m pound short term signing, that I think we are better off avoiding and am hoping under Ineos we will be.
