I hope we bring in some extra attacking quality along with Griezmann. As much as i want to sign him, he's not going to make enough of a difference if you put him in our attack as it is. I'm just struggling to see who we are going to turn to if not Silva. Our right side is atrocious.
I'm sure we'll bring in a striker as well as Griezmann. But yeah in an ideal world we'd add a world class winger too. I guess there's only so much we can do in one window though.

The right hand side should be a priority. We literally have nobody that looks good in the position because they all want to play through the middle. Griezmann, Rashford & Martial are all capable of playing up front.

Unlike many, I doubt a 'number 9' will come in, unless it's some sort of stop-gap. Not worth blowing £60m+ when you expect either Rashford or Martial to become natural first choices within 18 months, especially when there are other areas which require urgent attention, including centre-half and central midfield. I think Zlatan will hang around, and if he's available around January, to get a deal til the end of the season to flesh out the numbers.

I really fail to see the logic in this. Griezmann has played the majority of his career off the right. In his final season at Sociedad he played a full season there in a very ordinary team and scored 20 goals. And, while Atleti do most deploy him as a second striker in a 4-4-2, Simeone regularly varies this, including during matches, and he seamlessly returns to the right in a 4321/433. Messi and Ronaldo are the most successful goalscorers of all time, and almost always start out wide, but are allowed considerable freedom due to their footballing intelligence, I suspect this is where the Frenchman can not just match but exceed his goal tally in Spain with better players around him.
