His last good season was the year before Cavani arrived.Sulked like a child? Mourinho didnt like him but Martial earned his place in the team in the end even if Mourinho signed Sanchez for his spot. Other strikers like Cavani were signed and Martial had his best seasons when Cavani was around.
His is a strange case. He looked like the future but after a superb first season he was benched by Mourinho and stripped of the number 9 in favour of an aging Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a clear case of short term thinking.
To be honest, he's never really recovered that first season promise apart from glimpses under Ole. Hopefully we handle Hojlund's future with more care.

His best season was comfortably 19/20. 17 PL goals and really glued that attack together with his hold up play. Shame injuries prevented him from kicking on.
He was mine too and the players' POTY as well. That season confirmed his Benzema-level potential for me, such a shame how things have gone since. He was a joy to behold, knitting most of our attack together and still chipping in with a fair amount of goals himself, many of them worldies as it tends to be with him. Even more impressive was how he was able to keep the harmony and make a sensible attacking unit with two agonizingly selfish ball hogs in Rashford and Greenwood, with the trigger-happy Bruno behind them.People need to go back and watch that season and specifically him. He was comfortably my POTY even though I think fans voted Bruno.
He hasn't had the career any of us hoped he would have but he's had the highest peak of any of our attackers over the last nearly decade in my opinion. He was mine too and the players' POTY as well. Dont want to ever see him againI think we'll see him vs Arsenal.

I doubt he’ll want to play for us again.
Hes not going to want to risk getting injured and finding a club in the summer.
Really? Frustration is mine. One of the few bright spots post Sir Alex. In a sea of boredom and terrible football, he produced more exciting moments than probably anyone. For me, anyway. That's why I will always have fond memories of his time here despite everything.
23,22,17.People already forget a few years ago we raved the long lasting trinity, rashford, martial, greenwood. The team scored so many beautiful goals then.
Frustration definitely has its place, yeah. Things have been that bad that I can just appreciate a player who could produce some of the magic he did despite the bad moments, though.Really? Frustration is mine.
Take me back to the day he debuted and scored against Liverpool and start everything all over.
I know I must be wrong but I can’t shake the feeling he’ll blag his way into staying
He’ll come back for Brighton and city, score a couple and then United will do what they’ve done every June for 5 years and fool themselves into thinking he could stay as cover
He's out of contract isn't he? Won't be getting a fee for him, but will save a bundle on wages. Will be sold in the summer. Pity about his injuries. A fit and on form Martial would be an asset to any top team.

I'd be fascinated to see where he goes from here.
Al Nassr or Al Habibi.
The fast paced game from there will result in him getting injured and he gets a nice salary for doing nothing.
It's a bit sad really. Obviously he's not had the mentality, but probably not the leadership either and one of the players who's career has not been helped by the carousel of managers. Ten Hag would have been a good manager for him earlier in his career. He's clearly done now. I'd be fascinated to see where he goes from here.
I'm so sick and tired of all those players we've had over the years that fit into his mould, the Pogbas, Lingards, Martials, Rashfords, Sanchos etc.
ETH is a terrible choice for manager for him. He's breaking every 2/3 players at the club. He's an injury prone players worst nightmare
You know what I meant. And live through the past 8 years? No way.
I doubt he’ll want to play for us again.
