Convenient he won't be fit throughout the transfer window...
That will take him out until the middle of April if my brain is working
Just in time to come back, score a couple of goals at the end of the season and convince the club to keep him on
He wasn’t going to leave anyway. He’s running down that contract and will end up clubless like DDG and Lingard.Convenient he won't be fit throughout the transfer window...
Very true but somehow caftards will blame it on the player for being fragile. Some people's bodies reach a point where they aren't made for football. It's actually a bit sad. Easy to see how his motivation got completely killed after injury after injury
Yeah people lack standard human empathy when something happens to somebody if they happen to be wealthy or famousVery true but somehow caftards will blame it on the player for being fragile.
Especially when Ole insisted on playing him through injury as well. Some people's bodies reach a point where they aren't made for football. It's actually a bit sad. Easy to see how his motivation got completely killed after injury after injury
Logically not.Joke I know but not a chance he gets a new deal if the things being reported about how INEOS/Ratcliffe want to do things pan out
Just fecking sell him at this point, he’s a complete crock. The new Phil Jones.
Man United?Who is going to buy a player that is injured for the next three months then out of contract two months later?
Man United?
Our fanbase has had several episodes of believing players faking their injuries/sickness Even now, it's so easy to read between the lines.Yeah people lack standard human empathy when something happens to somebody if they happen to be wealthy or famous

Sure, but you don't need much empathy to just say "we should've gotten rid long ago" and to just call him too injury prone rather than attack a players character, professionalism or whatever. A player being injury prone means nothing for their character. It's just their body can't keep up with what they try to do. The same happened to Pogba. There's nothing to suggest he doesn't treat himself well off the pitch. So criticism should be kept to just his use as a footballer (which isn't much, because of injuries).I mean it sucks, but it’s not like your average Joe where getting sick or injured to the point where you can’t work, can leave you destitute and unable to make ends meet. A lot of jobs don’t offer sick pay, and those that do will have a limit on it. But Martial has been picking up £250k a week to play half an hour of football every 2-3 months. It’s a shame for him but my empathy here doesn’t go far at all.
Yep, and it's only been since that point that his body fell apart. Maybe that would have happened anyway and it's completely unrelated, but the question has to be asked. Continuing to play him for months while he could barely ran was always running the risk of causing issues in the future.Especially when Ole insisted on playing him through injury as well.

And Rashford with that back injury.Yep, and it's only been since that point that his body fell apart. Same thing happened with Pogba as well IIRC.
Yep, finally. About 5 years too late but he'll finally leave it seems.Out of contract this summer?
Exactly this has to stop from here on in. I also believe Shaw is on the fence of not staying fit and could easily fall one way or other. At his age I would sell as soon as fit and showing form maybe after euros.Only a few years on, players like DDG, Bailly, Pogba, Lingard and Martial who Ole and JM had to rely on can’t even get a club or stay fit. Can’t see anyone taking Martial with his attitude and Fitness problems. We must do better at recruitment and selling duds and bad apples sooner

Yeah surely, especially with what Berrada has said in the past about non-performance!Yep, finally. About 5 years too late but he'll finally leave it seems.
You would do different I assume?Shameful. Stays at the club, gets paid about 2 million (at least) gets surgery and rehabs on the clubs time and then leaves on a free in the summer.
