I'm sure you'd know better.Yeah we've heard that before.

So predictable.Hopefully he can stay fit because that's his biggest issue. There's still a useful player in there.
It's a minor one and they're hoping he'll be fine for next weeks game, but possibly the week after against Liverpool
We might seem him by mid September then based on history. This is a disaster for our start to the season. It's a minor one and they're hoping he'll be fine for next weeks game, but possibly the week after against Liverpool
Got injured vs Atletico apparently.Seems like a precaution so hopefully its not long
Whatever the case, we know Martial is injury prone. We have no replacements and watch us go and panic buy.
Got injured vs Atletico apparently.
And Good. I'd rather us panic buy than do nothing. The club is useless at making transfers to it's better to panic buy, hope Ten Hag can do something rather then go into the season and hope Elanga can discover how to control, dribble, pass or shoot.
Well we clearly haven't planned anything, so at this point, I'd rather "panic buy" Ziyech or Asensio or someone who is simply better than Elanga for the right wing. Elanga to be blunt isnt a premier league level player, yet he will end up starting a significant amount of games because he is the first option after Sancho and Rashford for the wings. That's pathetic depth and just negligence on our part. The problem with panic buying is that it massively increases the chance of buying a player who doesn’t fit. And we already know how much money we invariably lose trying to fix that sort of error.
Planned buying would be great. Panic buying not so much.
Calm down guys, a single injury is not the end of the world.
Rashford will play CF with Bruno, Eriksen, Sancho behind him. We'll be fine.
The problems start when multiple attackers get injured.
Imagine a parallel universe where United buy a striker early summer because we know we need one since February.
You can only laugh really
ooh this season will be a rollercoaster

Ronaldo will not start. I'd bet my life on it.
This the 100% the right decision by the way.
C'mon Tony, get back fit for Brentford...this is his big chance, gutted for him tbh.

We had one top of the list. Nkunku. Then we acquiesced to ETHs demand and dropped all of our previously planned targets in favor of whatever he was planning.
And like many a manager before, he waltzed in thinking the squad was in better shape than it actually was and that all was peachy. So here we are.
This one's on ETH, and to some lesser extent Arnold for shifting away from the earlier plan immediately following Ole's departure. But to be fair, ETH is the kind of manager it was important to bring on at all costs.
Nkunku was going nowhere, he was PSG's priority but Leipzig and the player chose a move next summer at the earliest.
Elanga Rashford Sancho
Woof
Striker was one of our priority targets for the summer before ETH came on. Nkunku was high on the list but even if not him for whatever reason, it would have been someone else and likely much earlier than with ETH who needed to assess the squad in full before coming up with his list.
It's not a bad thing. But it's silly to think the transfer window would go smoothly as soon as that decision was made.
Today you are right but mid to long term, it has been clear that Martial struggles with niggling injuries. It's best for us to have him as a rotation player than expect to have him as a 30+ games starter.
