If Ronaldo stay, I am not worried about Ronaldo playing. The issue is whether he stays.I rate him when he's on song but he's an injury waiting to happen and that's a worry when the only other striker you have is a 37year old Ronaldo that doesn't want to be here.
I'm not interested in your boredom.Ok what's the fix then? Bored of people complaining about problems yet providing no solutions. Who solves our problems?

Ronnie was the best CF out there and available, who is the next? It's easy to point the finger for solutions part way through the solutions phase and say resolve it. Lewandowski would have been my choice. Sesko looks too wooden. Given where we are now, I'd go all out to keep Ronnie. Martial did nothing, goal productive, that Ronnie cannot do. I'd plan for next season scouting for someone or hoping issues resolve themselves.
Cracking solutions, short term views in their finest. Wont be surprised if I dont see you in the mains soon to put in more ridiculous views
Rashford is a 2nd tier goal scorer. Make him your lone striker, he can give you 20 non penalty goals in total all comps at best.
This obviously is a priority for footballers but you have to respect that if you want to play certain roles, you'll have to make sacrifices in parts of your game or physique. He's definitely less explosive now but he is certainly more well equipped to deal with centre backs. He can still dribble at a high level but I imagine we've seen his scintillating best in that aspect.Just been watching some vintage Martial on YT. What stands out the most is just how his body type has changed over time. Definitely filled out a lot compared to before. Of course this is expected as players mature, my issue is, I think in gaining size, he's lost some pace, quickness and agility. This also translates in him looking less electric as a dribbler.
On the flip side, he's gotten better in his general hold up play, riding challenges and playing with his back to goal. I guess he sees it as morphing himself from a winger to a CF. Afterall, this is how he's always seen himself, AM9 and all.
In the NFL, there's a big focus on gaining the maximum amount of strength and stopping before it starts impacting speed and explosiveness. Obviously different sport but this has to be the aim for footballers too, and is what Martial should strive for.
Rashford is a great example of a player that I think is doing this correctly. He's main issues are more around decision-making, which hopefully Ten hag can help with.
I have genuinely never seen this with him. It looks clumsy, there’s not really any skill involved and it usually just ends up with him running straight into a defender. This obviously is a priority for footballers but you have to respect that if you want to play certain roles, you'll have to make sacrifices in parts of your game or physique. You've never seen him dribble at a high level? He's more than capable of dribbling past most players it's just that he doesn't try it very often, like with most of his game, he relies on confidence and fitness, that's been missing for the last couple seasons. I thought his dribbling game had deteriorated half way through the 19/20 season but by the end of it, he was going past players for fun.I have genuinely never seen this with him. Thats Rashford, Martial has excellent quick feet (the goal against watford, mugging off Foster) even when running at players theres a higher chance of him annoyingly coming away with the ball somehow.I have genuinely never seen this with him. Aaaand welcome to the new season….
Knew this would happen, always seems to be the way when someone gets a big chance to shine they get injured.
Yup. He’s had an awful time the last 18 months with injuries. All the talk of his quality - that’s by far his biggest issue and its why the Seville loan was a disaster.Martial has a particularly poor injury record so the club only has itself to blame here
The worst possible injury for us right now.
Ronaldo can’t start he’s not fit enough surely. Will be Elanga/Rashford/Sancho surely

I’d be happy with that if it’s Eriksen at 10Bruno on the left, and Rashford taking the striker position most likely.
Probably, but it should be Garnacho/Rashford/Sanco imo.The worst possible injury for us right now.

There's no curse in this, just that we love to bank on average players and then wonder why we are not successful.I wonder when the curse over this club will lift.
Ohhh how right you were. Not even a week after your post he's injured.I rate him when he's on song but he's an injury waiting to happen and that's a worry when the only other striker you have is a 37year old Ronaldo that doesn't want to be here.
Is sancho fit?Probably, but it should be Garnacho/Rashford/Sanco imo.
Another reason we should be looking to sell him
