Forgot he was even injured. Time to part ways while decent fee still possible
2 or 3 of them seasons he wasn't first choice so stop with the bashing, some of you do my head in with the way you are so quick to put him down. He's good for about 10 league goals per season. Last season he overperformed, this season he underperformed. But averaging it out, it still comes to about 10.

Just because you have shiny new toy in greenwood who has to be one of the most selfish player I have ever seen,I call him shoot on site,in difficult game martial Is the only one who is team oriented even if he is not having the best of time.
Yes martial hasn't been good this season but to always put him down at every occasion even when he isn't playing is criminal as if some of you are happy he isn't doing well.
He’s United’s 1980’s era Pele.If he was in last seasons form, we might have gone toe to toe with city in the title race.
I still can’t figure out the reason for this downturn in form.
And I can’t believe that Joel glazer called him United’s Pele.
how about this? We can take Benzema off your hands and we will give you 50 million plus martial.

Martial was only a squad player for most of those years to be fair, and in two of them (17/18 and 18/19) he was being treated harshly by the manager as he should have been first choice if we based it on performances. He was also out on the left for most of them, so getting 9 or 10 league goals a season as a squad wide player is actually quite decent. He's good for about 10 league goals per season. Last season he overperformed, this season he underperformed. But averaging it out, it still comes to about 10.

Good news...?
Obviously its good news.

It's always nice to have options but we've not exactly missed him, which I think is quite damning.
Having options is always a good thing, always seemed odd that Ole ruled him out for the rest of the season with a sprain

Maybe he's the king of wishful thinking.

Martial has the talent, but the mentality is not there. As a comparison, we signed Telles to provide competition to Shaw.
Cavani to be "backup" to Martial.
The difference between the reactions of the two players couldn't be more light and day.
Shaw's performances this season are also a reminder not to write a player off that we know has the ability. Cavani has only come good for us in the last month. As a comparison, we signed Telles to provide competition to Shaw.

He'll probably sulk. He's got a challenge ahead of him. I'll be interested to see how he responds.
And we defo dont lose the home game vs PSG with the chances he missed at 1-1 (and probably progress to last 16)If this guy had shown up this season, we would have been in the title race still.
Hope he has sorted whatever issues he has and has a strong finish to this season.
