Won the penalty, retained possession reasonably well, though still got dispossessed 5 times (not helped by the referee), passing was good, very good at times. Wasted huge chance to score in the 2nd half. One interception.

Playing as a false 9 with room behind him is where he’s best, we rarely get him into those situations against teams that defend deeper.
when he’s allowed to pin a defender 1v1 he’s excellent.
During his time here, he's tended to show up more in big games (which is kinda opposite to his general persona).
Why can't we have this martial more often. That was a top top performance. I hope he ends the season well now.

Really pleased for him. He’s had a few games performance wise like that this season but I think the occasion and the result elevate it to his best link up game this season.

If he scored that chance it would been a definitely 10 performance, but damn that miss was so bad that eventhough he played really well I can't give him more than a 7. You just have to score those, they don't come easier than that.
Missed a good chance but other than that I think he did his job brilliantly. Always offered an outlet, held onto the ball when he got it. A bit of a false 9 role today. Very happy.

He’s very talented and every so often if all comes together but I don’t see any chance of him doing it consistently, over the course of months and seasons.
He played really well today but he needs to sort his finishing out.
He was very good because he can come deep and get the ball. That's his best way to play. If we play Cavani and him together up front he and the team will play a lot better.
Our best CF performance this season. If he can maintain some form like this, he's comfortably our best striker. Really should have scored his chance though.
I sometimes feel he would work best in a 2 striker partnership.
Did anyone really think he was gonna score. That position, he really rarely scores them for there and the way he shot it showed he isn't natural there
