Pace - the main Ralf tactic was runs in behind/a quick forward ball.Don't know what Ralf saw in him
Can't be anything else.
Reminds me of Mctominay... Plucked out of nowhere and then ended up staying in the first team.

As he should one player is 25 the other one 20 so let's see he has been a bit of mixed bags but let's give the guy a break.
Obviously, he's worse than McTominay, but I thought the same. Two players who shouldn't even be fringe squad players at a top club. Hopefully those days are finally numbered very soon.Pace - the main Ralf tactic was runs in behind/a quick forward ball.

Hes got tons more talent than McTominay but probably as lucky to get games because of lack of options however McTominay seems to take that step up needed (helped massivelly by physicality and no need for expansive progressive football at the time) to at least be in contention for some time. Elanga with the ever growing options of palyers who can perform from young age around taking their chance I think will leave soon.Pace - the main Ralf tactic was runs in behind/a quick forward ball.

To be fair he was playing out of position, and Pellestri came on with Rashy.Pelestri looked much better in his limited time on the pitch. Ran with the ball, took people on, ran into the box, passed it well. Elanga looks lost out there, unfortunately.
Exactly, pointing out what done confidence and guidance can do for a player. Elanga needs minutes and steady football, won't get it here. You were the one making the silly comparison though.
He is fast and he works hard but there's just nowhere near enough quality to his game. He's had enough minutes in his Utd career to have shown something and he just hasn't. This season especially he's provided absolutely nothing.
I have nothing against him, I just don't think he's going to make it here.
He did a really good job showcasing why we're so desperate for a striker who got relegated with Burnley. It all makes sense now.

Eh ?Seems like a great guy, but absolutely pointless to have him taking minutes from others. Facundo should be playing more
He needs a loan as I think he’s going to need minutes to get his confidence back and we can’t afford to give him many currently.
Somewhere like Middlesbrough.

He needs to be sold with a buy back clause. This whole ‘loan out every kid’ approach is why we never make any money on any youngster. It’s the reason dross like Tuanzebe and Williams are still here because we were too worried about their potential.
If this was Liverpool they would’ve flogged him for 30m to some lower table suckers in the previous summer. We need to start doing the same. Most of the academy kids at clubs like United will never be good enough. In the off chance they do come good we buy them back for 5-10m extra.
We need to come to terms with reality and stop romanticizing every academy kid to exist. Majority of them will have done well with their careers if they have clubs like Burnley and Bournemouth on their CVs by the time they’re done.

Not to mention Sancho once he's back (hopefully in the shape of his life with a point to prove)Doesn't look like he will turn into a useful player for us, to be honest. He is already miles behind Garnacho, Pellistri also looked a lot better, and when we get Amad back, I'm sure he will also be a better option.
I always know he's going to be rubbish when he comes on or starts and he always is.
I don't understand why he continually gets chances, is it to save the legs of others only?
Are you trying to be inducted into the 'posts that sound sexual' thread?I suspect it may be because he is quite 'mature' physically. He quick and has some physicality to him as well, which is maybe where Garnacho and Pellistri are lacking a bit.
He is very bad at football.
Which is a problem when you're a footballer.
